Glam Rock

Sorry for my long hiatus, kinda busy lately, no time to really sit down in front of my laptop to edit photos. Didn't even have time to look at the photos that I took at Bali and also events that I've attended lately. Hope that after the beginning of November things will be more settle down and I can have more time to blog. *cross fingers*

Did a show for Snips 2 days ago, if you followed my Instagram you probably have already seen all these photos, but still I decided to use those filtered photos and did a short blog post. lazy me. lol. But better than leave the blog un-updated, right? Haha. Only 3 female models out of 11 models, and that was the first time I worked with Lau Ka Man, one of the Top 20 finalists of this year's Miss Astro pageant. 

Early morning rehearsal

Rehearsal is one of the headache part of the day, not because of the arrangements or choreography, but the time. The only time we can rehearsal for a show when it's happening in a shopping mall will be before the mall opens, that means we have to stuck in the traffic with all those who are going to work/school. Then after rehearsal we got nothing to do till the call time for preparation, which some times we have hours to spend. Mostly we just hang out and yumcha. lol.






That day's show theme is Glam Rock, and it will also be my first time to braid my hair.

Pain

It's a painful process to braid all my hair, and I have no idea how the Africans or those who did withstand the pain. I almost jumped out from my chair each time they start braiding my hair. The whole process took longer than 5 hours, and the pain gave me headache. Nonetheless, it was my first time did braiding and I really love the outcome! I thought of doing it during my Krabi trip but it's kinda out of my budget + I have show to do the next day I fly back to KL, so it will be a total waste of money even though I did it. So, this show kinda makes my dream come true

Not the first time did a show for Snips Hair Salon, but it will be my first time to be in my own pair of Converse and walked the stage. One of the relaxing show I've ever done, no stress, no rules, just walk out with attitude. That's it. I really hope I did a good job for that day.

Thank you Snips and Maxx for the opportunity. Although the process is a bit painful and almost unbearable, but still it was one of the unique hairstyle I ever had and I still have it today. Feels a bit wasted if I remove all the braids on that day, after endured so much pain, might as well leave the hairstyle as it is for a few more days.





It's been some time since I did Rock style, thanks for reignite the rock spirit in me. Love it all over again!!!

ASIA PACIFIC HAIRDRESSERS AND COSMETOLOGIST ASSOCIATION (APHCA) THE 17TH ASIA PACIFIC HAIR & MAKE-UP OLYMPICS COMPETITION

In conjunction of Beauty Expo 13, this year with the support of Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) and agency under Ministry of Tourism and Culture, InterExpo and APHCA, The 17th Asia Pacific Hair and Makeup Olympics Competition were held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre during the exhibition period of Beauty Expo 13, bringing Beauty Expo to an international level.



The Asia Pacific Hair and Makeup Olympics Competition is an annual event that held throughout countries in Asia Pacific region. This competition was organized by APHCA for the local as well as international talents to have a platform for sharing their knowledge as well as exhibit creative and ideas in the beauty industry. The competition also allows participants to update to continuos update to the latest trends and styles, exposed to opportunities and advancing their careers.




Judges, contestants and sponsors were treated a feast during the Welcome Gala Night of Asia Pacific Hair and Makeup Cultural Heritage Show which were contributed by five participating countries like Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia.




This feisty and healthy competition were participated by 13 countries of APHCA members country, which are:

• Indonesia
• Philippines
• Japan
• Singapore
• Korea
• Sri Lanka
• Malaysia
• Taiwan
• Mongolia
• Thailand

Over 90 judges will judge and scrutinize these 300 contestants of the Hair and Makeup Olympics Competition will go through 8 rounds of competitions which consist the following category:

• Bridal Hair
• Ladies Designer Make Up
• Evening Elegant Make Up

• Fantasy Make-up

Beauty Expo & AES Expo 2013

Beauty Expo 2013 was one of the most anticipated annual beauty event of the year which happened just last week. A lot of my friends were there either to participate their competitions or to shop like a crazy woman because of the super cheap deals offered by the merchants who participated in the exhibition. 

The exhibition was held in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, over 10000 square meter of floor space were used to held this huge expo. More than 500 specialists from over 23 countries have gathered in this annual event and showcased their premier products and over 10000 local and international product varieties were on displayed during the event which included products from Singapore, Korea and Taiwan.

Visitors were spoilt for choices with the variety of products that they can buy in the event which covered from head to toe, such as Salon, Spa & Wellness products, hair products and equipments, nail products and tools, packaging, contract, manufacturing & private labeling and make-up education. The exhibition covers top notch selection of beauty business and services that can be offered to trade visitors as well as public to fulfill their needs when it comes to the beauty and wellness industry.

Another major highlight of beauty expo is it is also a host for makeup competitions, stage shows and seminars to share the knowledge of beauty and wellness to those who are interested in this field. This year, one of the most anticipated event for beauty expo was The 17th Asia Pacific Hair and Makeup Olympics Competition, the biggest hair and makeup show in Asia Pacific region. Besides this, there are various of seminars held during the expo, and visitors can gain their knowledge by participate in the seminars that were hosted by international renown professionals in their respective fields.

We have a very hard, hard time to choose what we want because each of them were looking good and so comfortable that you will forget you're wearing a pair of shoes at your feet and walking around for one whole day wouldn't be a problem anymore. After a tour around Scholl's outlet, only I find that Scholl have so many good designs that comes with comfortable sole and also some with functionality which is good for the backbone too. There are some funky designs that suits for beach wear, some classic designs which suits for working attire and also some good looking footwear that suits for daily outing. After a hard time deciding, I finally made up my mind and opted for the white sandal. I really love the colour, design as well as the comfortable feeling of wearing the sandal.

You hardly can see it here but this is the first time I'm wearing it after I get the sandal.

Busy Busy Busy

So busy nowadays that I have no time for myself to do other stuff, only to get some sleep so that I can continue be busy. I am totally agree that busy is good for me, some say it's for the money, I will say it's for personal achievement as well as money as well.




As some of you know that I just went to Bali recently and that is one hella beautiful place and I fell in love with Bali uncontrollably. I wanted to visit Bali again, again and again! Took a lot of photos during the 3 days 2 nights trip and of course, a lot of experience to share with you all. Will blog about it once I have time to sit down and edit the photos. Can't wait to show you how stunningly beautiful the place is!





Travelled to Bali, watched some awesome movies in cinema ( Rush and Gravity), finally get some good night sleep after the hustle bustles of travel and catch up with friends and family, and it's time to get back to work again tomorrow. Not to mention I still have tons of backlog blog post haven't write. Give me some more time will ya God!
