Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500) Launch in Malaysia

You know it is here - Samsung Galaxy S4, is now available in Malaysia!!! I am definitely not exaggerating if I say that Samsung Galaxy S4 is the smartphone of the year, because you know what, it's totally sold out on its first day of launch! Crazy!!!!

The shopping malls around Bukit Bintang especially Plaza Low Yat and Berjaya Times Square had a fun party launching the Galaxy S4 and there are so many performances to enjoy by shoppers.

It was like a parade!

Liyana Jasmay and Awal Ashaari as the local celebrities who officiated the launch of Samsung Galaxy S4 alongside with all the big shots from Samsung Malaysia.

Never ending queue of gadget lovers to get the first touch of the awesome phone.

I am sure that many of you would like to know what are the new features of S4, many can't wait for their next batch of stock already. Samsung Galaxy S4, available in White Frost and Black Mist, according to some news source, White Frost is now price at RM2450 because the phone is so pretty in white can! If for me to choose I'll definitely go for white too.

Finally my turn to test the demo unit.

5-inch FULL HD Super AMOLED (1080 x 1920 pixels) display, the colour of images portrayed are so vivid and lively, so much different from my current Galaxy S3. It is such an enjoyable thing to watch videos and images using the S4 because of its superb display quality. I am a person who look into display qualities a lot because a photo has so many things to say, if the display isn't clear or vivid enough, the expression of images wouldn't be as lively as it should be don't you think so? S4 is definitely gave me an awesome viewing experience.

New feature - Dual Shot!

Another feature that wins my heart is its 13 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and HDR recording plus new features which are the dual shot and drama shot. The camera was fast, detail and the photos are so clear. Samsung Galaxy S4's front camera will be 2 megapixels 1080p and also 30 frame-per-second video recording too. Photos that took by its front camera kinda shocked me because the photos came out so clear! This is a much needed awesome-possum phone for girls who likes to take photos and of course - selca all the way!!! 

Samsung Galaxy S4 manage to cram all the awesome features into a slimmer device, kudos to that. When I hold the phone I feel it fits just right in my palm, definitely comfortable to use for a long period of time. Rounded edge, same height as the previous S3, but thinner and lighter. I really like the feeling of holding it in my hand. lol.

S4, stands for Super, not simple, got these smart features in hand that will be the lead in the smartphone industry. Air View, Air Gesture, Smart Pause and Smart Scroll are some features that are new to me because my phone doesn't have these features. These are called as magical Air and Gesture technology which brings a phone scrolling and looking to a whole new level. Although Note 2 already has the Air View trick, but it requires the S Pen to do the thing, but with S4 improved technology, there's no need of S Pen to complete the task, making everything finger-friendly. 

Air view means you hover over an image, or texts, or maybe emails for more details shown. A magnifying effect on the image, previewing emails or even, a details of agenda in the calendars can be shown with just a simple hover-over gesture. Other than that, Air Gesture is something I love, it makes flipping through photos, skip songs or even accept calls easier - with just a simple hand wave over the screen without exactly touching it. Definitely a MUST for drivers. Where Smart Pause is an eye-tracking feature that tracks the movement of your eyes. If you're watching a video and suddenly something distract you, the video will pause automatically and resume playing once you set eye on the phone. Isn't it awesome? Definitely gonna keep my eyes and hand gestures busy if I ever get one Galaxy S4.

RED is the New Black

Little did you know, I was once obsessed with the colour red. I buy tops in red, skirts in red, even my shoes are in red too. The colour of red is so attractive I just can't even. It gives me so much positive energy that I feel energetic and high-spirit when I'm wearing red.





At some occasion, I find that red also express the sexiness within, like a pair of red lips, one tight-fitting red dress or a pair of red high-heels. Isn't that something that attract everyone's eyeballs? Definitely catch mine tho. Sometimes when I feel more feminine on a particular day, I will wear red lipstick too.

Paradigm In Style Spring Summer 2013 - Opening Show by SEED

So happy to be one of the model to walk for Paradigm Mall's Fashion Week opening show wearing SEED apparel. It was like a mini gathering for Amber Chia Academy Alumni, all the uprising models gather together.

It's been quite some time since I last seen some of them, they are so busy doing shows and this is such a perfect time to catch up with them. Talked so much nonsense and joked around, and also met some new friends!!! :D

Thank to Amber Chia Academy, SEED, and Paradigm Mall for this wonderful opportunity of having us walking for the show. Great experience indeed.

p.s: Next Friday will be the Amber Chia Academy's 3rd Graduation Show, catch me in action!!! Gonna do something other than catwalking, guess what! ;D

Swedish House Mafia - One Last Tour in Kuala Lumpur

Can't believe I'm blogging about something that happens back in January this year, but I'll be unsatisfied if I don't because this is one damn good experience I had - Swedish House Mafia's One Last Tour in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!!! (Also as known as Reiko's first ever self-purchase ticket to a concert/rave party lolololol)

Although I'm not a real fan of Swedish House Mafia, but I listen to their songs occasionally and after I learned that this is going to be their last world tour before they disband, I feel it's definitely a must go for me to experience their live performance. Honestly, it was so, so good, by far the best concert I've ever went this year!

The concert was held at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach, I remember it was a Friday and I reach Sunway Pyramid so early to beat the hectic traffic at that area. The gang that I'm watching this concert with are actually Tammy's friends, but too bad she's not into rave party so it is just me and her friends. Luckily all of them were cool so we get together pretty well before the concert starts.

I kinda forgot what event me and Lisa went earlier that day that in the end she followed me to Sunway Pyramid and we chilled at Starbucks while waiting for my friends to reach. Funny thing is everytime the Starbucks baristas wrote the wrong name on my cup even though I spelled it out alphabet by alphabet, so I decided to do what my other friend did - use some character names. This time I chose Sailormoon, but guess what, they get it wrong anyway.... Sigh.

Yeah right, Salemoo. Hahahaha. Whatever!!

I waited for hours before the first in the gang arrive, I remembered that it was raining on that day and we kinda worried the concert can't carry on as scheduled, but luckily it stopped before the show begin. Had our dinner at Asian Avenue and finally saw my ticket stub for the first time. Thanks Daniel for helping all of us buy the ticket.

Ohai One Last Tour, here we come!!!

Maybe I'm a noob, they told me it isn't necessary to enter the venue that early, and we can chill at the bar near the boulevard and had few drinks before we head to Sunway Surf Beach. We chilled at the bar until 9pm, then only we head to the venue. I must say, their timing is very good! lol.

9pm, I can't wait to go in, and I quickly urge all of them to finish all the beer they've ordered. I guess they are pretty much good drinker as those amount of beer to them are nothing. LOL. Did I mention that Jean was with us as well? Too bad she have to accompany her friends, we didn't have much time spent together and didn't even take one single photo together!! SIGH!!!

I'm gonna rave for the first time in my life!

We spent quite some time queuing up and waiting for friends to go to the loo and all. At that very moment we reach Sunway Surf Beach, that's the exact time where Swedish House Mafia takes over the stage and start their performance with the big curtains down and fireworks blasting from stage. At that time we are so excited we can't find our zone's entrance. Have to go through all the people and a lot of people being pushy as well. Not an easy task to get to our zone at all, and in the middle of the 'mission', we lost track of some friends. Yikes.

I think 12 of us... and we split into 3 groups. Jean one group, another group and 4 of us stuck in the middle of the people inside the party zone. We didn't really contact each other as the signal is so bad at that time, we just party on.




I can't recall all the songs being played that night, but I remember each and every of them was good. The graphics from the LED are so good too that it brings our emotion to another level. This is how a good concert should be, bringing their audiences to a level which the experience is so unique that nothing can beat being there on the spot by themselves.

Half way through the concert, it started to rain again, luckily it is not pouring, just drizzle, totally good enough for cool down the heat of the whole surf beach, or else I find it's gonna be so hard to even breathe. Of course, pity those who wear glasses as the steam keeps showing on their lenses. The rain just make everything better!!!

Although I'm not a person with good stamina, but surprisingly I can dance and jump in a rave party continuously for 2 hours or more! That's how much I love dancing and music. I can't even last a 10 minutes badminton game but I can dance like there's no tomorrow. I'm quite amazed by my dancing stamina lol.

Last but not least, the Thank You we received from Swedish House Mafia!

By the time the party ends, we're already soaking wet!

It is one true unique experience I've been through this year, one which I will never forget. The rain that keeps raining on us, we who keep dancing and sing a long with Swedish House Mafia keep playing their songs. The unity I felt when all of us throw our hands in the air, with the rhythm and the beat, everything was perfect.





It is really such a sad thing for them to disband after their last performance on March 24th, but I will never forget their awesome performance in Malaysia. Thanks to all my friends who went to the concert together, I really had a great time with all of you!
