Hui Lau Shan

许留山. A *kinda* newly opened Hong Kong desserts shops that's invading most of the shopping malls nowadays.

I just had a taste of its desserts at Pavilion today. Lol.

Had Mango Romance from the Mango Mania series. My my, their mangoes are fresh and sweet. I love their Mango mochi 芒果糯米糍.

Looking forward to taste their Pomelo ice someday. (#^.^#)

第一次 ❤ First Time

Starring Angelababy and Mark Chao, this is a lovely first love story movie, directed by Yan Han 韩延.

Only showing at certain cinemas in KL, the one that me and le bf went (MidValley), almost fully seated! Even the first row was taken by few. I don't know is it the influence of Angelababy's prettiness, or the movie is really that good.

It turns out, both. To be honest, who wouldn't wanna see someone so pretty smile and look all cute on the screen? Angelababy really fits into the character as well, lovely, considerate, kind, warm and so. She's almost like an angel in there, except a broken one. (You'll know what I mean if you watch it.)

The different characteristic of the actor and actress make perfect contrasts and oddly matching of them being together. Mark Chao's character is a lead singer in an underground grunge rock band, so yeah, crazy stuff he did to impress miss lovely Angelababy.

A lot of cute ideas infused into the plot and it somehow reminds me of this French movie called "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain" or known as Amélie. The songs, place, settings, cute lil props they used, graphics and whole cinematography, just plain lovely.

The sweetness of falling in love for the first time, anxiety, worry, the crazy things that you'll do, the boundaries that you're gonna break, the moment you fall for love and you know there's nothing you can do about it to stop yourself from falling even though it may break you....

You will remember the taste of the sweetness of love, for your lifetime.

Here are some beautiful phrases/dialogues from the movie (in Chinese) that I love:

Now, go watch this movie and cry! (I feel like crying but I hold it inside.... because me and le bf don't have tissue!!! LOL!!!!)

P.S: This movie is an adaptation from a Korean movie called "...ing" released back in year 2003.

MAMC

Le bf playing this game called "Monsters Ate My Condo" while I'm lying beside him feeling nauseous.

Game costs $0.99 and it's kinda cute and funny with those monsters telling you to make high score in Hong Kong slang English. Lol.

I wanna feel all healthy again!!!! Gotta rest enough before work on this Saturday. お願い(^_^;)

X-Top Model Search 2012 Media Launch

I'm honored to be invited as one of the few to witnessed this exclusive media launch of X-Top Model Search year 2012.

The launch took place at Estate, The Intermark.

Despite the weather is not helping at all by raining so heavily, lots of people from Malaysia's fashion industry and medias showed up and gave their support.

Me and Valerie

Just when I'm being all alone, don't know what to do and only can look here and there, saw Valerie and her friends. So happy to see someone I know around hahaha. Such a long time since we last met. She's a blogger now. (Visit her blog here!)

I joined them and sat around the corner, coincidentally same table as Tengku Azura and other official sponsors of X-Top Model Search. Totally starstruck by Tengku Azura. I wanna be a successful model like how she and Amber is! Their passion in fashion and modelling industry touches me deeply.

The launch started a while later, platinum sponsors and organizer were invited to stage for some short speech as well as the winner of last year X-Top Model Search - Aw Sim Hui, shared her feelings of her journey during and after the search.

There's this mini fashion show by the winner and other finalists wearing local designers' creation.

The launch ended with group photos of the sponsors and finger foods were served. I like their English tea tho.

Calling girls with over 170cm height, do you have the X- Factor that they're searching? Apply now at www.xtopmodel.com and shine your way in Malaysia's fashion and modelling industry!

F21

Today is the grand opening of MidValley's Forever 21 outlet!

I wanted to see the fashion show but too bad le bf off work a bit later than expectation so have to rush to cinema without stopping by.

Did I missed out any good deals at Forever 21 today?

Venezia

located at Taman Segar, this is the 3rd time I visited Venezia, twice before they refurbish and this time, I finally get a taste of their famous Tiramisu!

Venezia... Venice, Italia?

Their new logo, with a tomato.

Le bf's Iced Cappuccino.
Super bitter for me.

Wild mushroom soup with a dash of cream on top! Yums!
I just love mushroom soup!

Here comes the main course I ordered for that day:

Dory fillet in cream butter.
RM25-26++

Taste so butter-ish and creamy and surprisingly, not salty at all. Tasted quite bland to be honest after I ate half of it.... I wonder did the chef forgot to put salt in it? Or am I the one who supposed to put salt by myself for extra taste?

Spaghetti alle Vongole

Didn't try the spaghetti because I was on a 'injury diet', can't eat any seafood related food or else might create pus to my wounds because I removed my moles that time. Am glad I manage to hold myself not to eat any eggs, peanuts, seafood (not that I really like seafood) and ginger. Scabs all gone and yeah~ nice and pretty now haha!

Last but not least~

Their signature Tiramisu
RM13.90

Smooth and creamy custard, aromatic with a dash of chocolate sweetness and coffee bitterness, this rum soaked trifle is definitely bring your senses to heaven.

While half way blogging bout this, I went for dinner and decided to go visit Venezia again but they're currently closed due to upgrade of their ventilation system and will reopen this Saturday (30th June 2012). ARGH! No Tiramisu! Had to settle for Secret Recipe. (V_V)

Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba na na~

POTATOOOOOOO~~~~~

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

These minions are just so funny!

Lil appetite

To no appetite for dinner... Don't know why!!! !(◎_◎;)

But am happy le bf bring me out for dinner and make it a celebration for me entering the top 10 finalists for Uniqlooks. Thanks love.

A cake as the conclusion of the night. Yums! (((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))

うれしいいいい〜

Wuah! Today is such a happy day because I received a good news~!

Jeng Jeng~

I'm one of the Top 10 female finalists for Uniqlo's Uniqlooks Malaysia! So happy to be chosen as one of the finalists and I'm so thankful for everyone who voted for my looks throughout the voting period! Thank you very much ありがとうございました!

There'll be a Grand Finale event on 6th of July at KLPAC. Stay tuned for more info of the event! (Super excited!!!) Don't know what will be assigned for finalists to do to determine the winner.

It's almost coming to an end for the month of June, my favourite month of a year. Here's some past week "look of the day" I haven't blog about:

Necklace: F Block
Orangey lipgloss: In2it

I like the lipgloss design as it has a brush as tip and it locks firnly when you capped it, so no more spilling lipgloss for tube design! Sheer orangey colour because I only conceal my lip colour but didn't put on any lipstick.

Swallows necklace from F Block boutique. Super love it!

To Bluunis event.

Watched Madagascar 3 for the 2nd time because GSC gives free movie ticket for members to redeem within their birthday month. Graphics in 3D version is better but still, dialogues are so funny I still laugh like siao even though I already knew what they going to say.

Sporty x Sweet

Pleated floral skirt bought at Brands Outlet during my visit to Paradigm Mall.

Eyes still feeling so dry even though redness has reduced. I have to blink so often and even some time, half close my eyes so that they don't dry out totally. Blurry vision still. Need rest more I guess before it fully recovers.

LOL. I still can't believe I worked even though my eyes infected in such serious way I looked like a vampire. Holding client's products walk on stage with video camera focused on my face, I wonder does audiences that night shocked and wondered what happened to me. lol.

Peachy chiffon dress for work. Elegant max.

Still a bit unbelievable to be one of the top 10 finalists for Uniqlo's contest. Thank you very much once again for those who voted for me! Couldn't make it without your support!

Busy week next week. I love this feeling, do you? ^_^

Whisk Outpost

Guessed me and le bf went a lil bit siao ding dong when we decided to stop by Whisk Outpost at One Utama for our dinner.

First saw this quaint lil café located just beside Meet Fresh (my fav Taiwan dessert shop among all) when I first found out Meet Fresh opened at One Utama. Decided to give Whisk Outpost a try last week.

Lots of vintage stuff around. Like the feel very much.

Red Velvet Cake

As this is the first time I had red velvet cake, so no way to compare, but I like how unique the cake tasted like. The contrast colour of its creamy vanilla frosting and the red layered cake is strangely attractive.

It's quite nice for me because I love sugary stuff. lol.

Mochacino Con La Nutella

One of Whisk Outpost signature. Mocha + Cappuccino + Nutella spread covered the cup. Just one sip your can taste the rich chocolatey creaminess of Nutella flowing with a bit bitterness Mochacino in your mouth. Very unique yet aromatic cup of coffee.

Then me and le bf ordered Croissant with tomato and cheese and sandwich with chicken and tomato. This 'dinner' costs RM50+. (XoX) Really OMG moment when the cashier told us the amount of bill.

Le bf keep on console me say is ok is ok just an experience but still feel so bad he have to pay so much for one dinner.

Itadakimasu~

Rose Hip Oil

Been neglecting my skin care routine ever since my eyes are infected.

Using SASAtinie's rose hip oil tightening and rejuvenating mask now.

The aromatic smell of rose hip oil making me feel pretty and girlish. *happy*

( but somehow the mask is a bit thin compare to others... I tore two parts already. >_< )

XuanとPenangへ行きました

Went to Penang with Xuan Xuan and 30 members from The Oh's Family for a 3 days 2 nights trip. I'm glad I can accompany Xuan Xuan during his school holiday (he goes to nursery nowadays). I miss him very much! >_<

En route very early in the morning, and stopped at Sg. Bakap for Teochew breakfast. I can't remember those dishes name, but not that cheap tho. (and not my type of dishes as well, so I just have a taste of each.)

Chai Kueh on the left, forget what soup dy but use fish to boil, and fried glass noodles.
Very Teochew.

Xuan Xuan had his very first experience on a ferry and I'm very happy as well to be the one who accompany him this time. We talked about sea colours, what's floating on it, and he's so excited to see all those ships and ferries around. LOL.

The first thing we did after reached Penang island is check-in to the place we stay and search for food. Non-stop eat only during this trip.

Asam Laksa, Hokkien Mee and Penang's Famous Cendol at Restoran Joo Hooi, Penang Road.
(But I like Malacca's more!)

Hutton Lodge is where we stayed. Bed & Breakfast style.
Their toast is the best I don't know why and how!
Better than Old Town or Paparich!

After lunch and chilled at room for a while, the next destination will be Batu Ferringhi. Beach. Perfect for chilling as well.

Actually it's a water sport beach.
Damn regret didn't bring beach wear so I can do some water sports!

Looking out for Xuan Xuan while he plays with at the beach. Happily playing with his cousins splashing water and got chased by waves. Haha. So fun looking at him being so happy.

This is how my boy looks like! Handsome boh? Haha!

Brilliant me, even wear long jeans to beach. wtf.

Then after playing at the seaside, the drivers were going round and round trying to search for a food court nearby that someone used to bring them. We guessed the food court closed down or something so we had to go back to Penang Road area for food.

Traffic quite heavy and lots of traffic jams. 9pm++ only able to have our dinner. Hungry die us. lol.

The next day morning, after breakfast at Hutton Lodge, they decided to go to Batu Ferringhi again, and this time, to Taman Negara Pulau Pinang. I didn't know Penang have Taman Negara, quite shocking when I first knew that. It's a newly established tourist spot I guess?

Instead of going through the forest first, they all decided to take speed boat to the Monkey Beach. My first time of taking speed boat with Xuan Xuan!

So fun when it speed!

So happy we keep on laugh and cheer when the boat driver speed.

I'm super afraid of getting tanner and tanner due to non-stop outdoor visits for these few weeks I slapped on a lot of sunblock! Even wear sunglasses and cover myself with scarf. Like a weirdo haha.

After lunch at the Monkey Beach, we seperate into two groups, one is those elderly people who can't manage to walk for 1 hour+ through the forest and back to where we park, they get to go back by speed boat. I'm in the 2nd group, obviously.

So, we walked and walked, climbed the stairs and tree roots up and down and finally, about 1 hour and half we reached the exit of the Taman Negara. It's really not a hard road to be honest but I wore skirt and flats that day super fml.

Some who lead the group say they saw an iguana as big as crocodile!!! Why oh why I wanna see that too! Must be stunning!

I'm quite impressed I manage to walk the whole route without feeling tired. I guess I'm still quite fit. Need to exercise more regularly for a healthier body!

After chilled awhile at the benches, the next destination is Balik Pulau. Yeah~ Home made asam laksa and durian.

Home made asam laksa.

It's just at the roadside at Balik Pulau I'm not sure of its address tho. You have to visit them early if not around 3 - 4pm their asam laksa sold out for sure. We 30 people have to share 3 bowls of asam laksa. Damn kelian.

Other than asam laksa, they have rojak, pai tee (popiah ni cupcake style) and nutmeg juice. Quite delicious! I wanna re-visit this place again with le bf next time.

Kinda forgot what we had for dinner that night, very tiring day to be honest.

Last day at Penang, after check-out, we went to Bukit Bendera (Penang Hill). I didn't even aware that the old cable cars are gone and replaced by the new, speedy cable car. Just about 5 minutes can reach top of the hill already. Wow!

But I'm seriously disgusted by those people who doesn't even know how to queue. The cable car is definitely going to wait for you, no need to push like there's a monster behind chasing you and you're gonna die if you don't get into the cable car in time. Damn dulan!

Penang Hill

The awesome view of Penang island.

Xuan is being a brave boy able to climb up and down the mountain, walked long distance and aren't afraid of sea.
I'm proud of you my lovely boy!

So happy to be able to visit these places with Xuan Xuan. These are very precious memories to me and I cherish them all so much. I hope he is as happy as I am to having his company in this trip.

I wonder when and where will be the next trip of me and Xuan Xuan.
