Eat Shit

I guess this is one of the most horrifying food consuming experience I ever had so far in my life, the feeling is really like - eat shit.

Guess you know what I just ate - stinky tofu at Taman Connaught's night market. Brave myself for this because Peiyue told me it's delicious. Since this will be the last time I see her, so I wanted to do something more 'memorable'. lol.

I tried both method - with and without chili sauce. Trust me, without chili sauce is definitely like eating a poop that is so crunchy I immediately feels nauseous, wanted to puke it out but I just take a deep breathe and gulp it down. Yucksss!!! Eewwwwww!! I don't feel like talking to anyone right after it.

But with chili, it was more 'consumable'. We had some pretty good laugh bout this tonight. Haha. Happy night it is.

Bon Voyage Peiyue. See you soon!!!

Antipodean

Finally, tried the famous big breakfast that everyone's talking about. A last breakfast before Peiyue back to Philippine again.

Unexpectedly crowded on a weekday, we have to wait about 10mins to be seated. I like the ambience around, people chatting and laughing while enjoying their hearty breakfast.

We ordered Big Breakfast and Smoked Salmon Omelette to share. Super love their sauteed mushroom, pork sausages and bacon in the Big Breakfast set. Yums! Not a big fan of the Smoked Salmon Omelette tho due to its heavy salmon fish smell, eventhough it's written as "smoked salmon", but we can't taste any "smokey" taste at all.

Hearty breakfast, delicious beverages, good companions, what more can I ask for? A wonderful day!!! :D

Happy Belated Chap Goh Mei

Yesterday was the 15th day of Chinese New Year, which marked the last day of it, and also, was one of the Chinese Valentine's Day.

Spent a lovely afternoon with Peiyue at Palate Palette for lunch and chit-chat. Ordered Mushroom Cappuccino, The Threesome (snacks platter) and myain course was the Steak & Cheese Sandwich. They were delicious!

Super love the ambience at Palate Palette, gives me a serene moment and enjoy each and every second of the good times shared with friends. I wonder is there any same type of restaurants around KL?

Last but not least, I had fun during this Chinese New Year, it was a good one!!!

Travel Fashion

Happy Chinese New Year to all of you! Are you still enjoying the mood and atmosphere of Chinese New Year? This CNY is been pretty busy for me, I've been traveled here and there for the past one week and the exhaustion finally caught up on me, but I guess it's good, so I can spend some time to do some blogging.

What are your essential items when it comes to travel fashion? To me, it will be sunglasses and cap! I find this combination can cover almost anything that looks unfashionable on you. lol. I know how much pain it is to leave your bed half an hour earlier than everybody else just to put on some make up and look good in front of the camera, and apparently I'm the super lazy + sleep-in type so... I just cover it up with cap and sunglasses. lol

This Malacca trip was an impromptu one, and glad that I went with them, discovered so many beautiful places and food during this trip, and of course, so much fun to travel in a big group, endless jokes and endless topics among the kids. Glad that everyone had a great time during this Chinese New Year.

Visited Geographer Cafe and I love their interior design! Shall go back again next time to try out their coffee and food.

The more I visit Malacca, the more I'm ove with this city. I love how people can walk around without needing a car, I love the street arts and the classic old buildings. I love their historical attractions and I definitely love their Baba Nyonya food! I will visit this city again soon.

Been to Ipoh, Malacca and Singapore in just one week and I can't pull myself out from travelling. Just planned another trip with a group of friends and I hope the arrangement for the trips during March and June can be sorted out soon. *pray hard hard*

Are you bitten by travel bug like me as well?

B is for Brunch

At プランB (Plan B).

It was a very late brunc indeed. Rush all the way from Singapore back to KL, doesn't have much time to eat, I rather sleep in the bus. Thanks to friend who answered my impromptu movie date and finally, tried Plan B for the first time.

Nicely decorated place and nice drinks they have there, but the Eggs Ben I had was so-so only. I thought there'll be some bacons but no, my bad for not read through the descriptions on the menu. lol. No sourish taste of the Hollandaise sauce as well, tad bit disappointed.

Managed to catch a movie 《在一起 Together 》before tonight's prayer at home. Even though there are my fav actor and actress in the movie, but it's not a good one. Aiks.

But I like one quote in the movie which sound something like this:

"It doesn't matter to laugh or to cry, what matters is there's that special someone to share with. "

Drop dead tired. Need some good rest, think am gonna ignore all the mess in my bedroom. haha.
