Manhand Concert 2010

Seriously, the person that I want to thank most for this very day is Shi Wei. If not for his generosity which made him lend me his camera, I won't have the chance to capture all these precious moments into the photos that I'm showing you now. Thank you very much!

I was told to apply for this serving drinks job in a concert by my friend Charlotte. And yeah, I just apply without asking more details about who is the one that'll be singing in the concert and stuffs. Lucky thing is I just got the job like that.

Was told to go to the work place with black dress and black heels. To match with the outfit, black color eyeshadow and volume type eyelashes is a must. Somehow look at these photos reminds me of how pretty black colour was. Those black hair days.

*Kua Zeong make-up. I even put on the lower fake lashes. LOL!*

*The concert was held at KL Live at Life Centre. It used to be Ruums Club. Very easy to find since this place just located behind KLCC.*

*Right at 7p.m, all the girls whom are working that night arrived and some crew lead us to the main entrance.*

*We're gonna enter the concert place soon. Somehow feels like we got more priority than the fans who buy tickets to watch the concert.*

*The place was dark and cold that time when we enter. Can see there's logo and stage set-ups. I think it's going to be a good night!*

Our agent cum supervisor - Joey took some time to reach the place. And she told us to change our dressed to Jack Daniel's dresses. LOL! Mine were new, never worn before hence it's super tight, I barely can let me head go through the collar area. If my head were smaller....

Anyway, me and this girl Renee got pair up as a team and were told to stay at the V.I.P area. Since we got nothing to do, it's camwhoring time!!!

*Reiko and Renee.... Double 'R'. Hehe!*

After sitting at the V.I.P area for a while, some guy ask us to follow him to the main entrance to hold a bottle of Jack Daniel and pose at the photo wall. Something like this if you don't know what I mean:

*Tadaa~! Photo opportunity for those who attend the concert and wanna take some photo as memories.*

While posing at the photo wall, after a while, we heard all the fans down there were yelling and screaming Manhand's name. We know that Manhand is walking up, towards the place they're going to held their concert that night.

And yeah, at the very moment I saw them, I was like: Wow! Manhand is in front of me! So near I can even touch them if I want! And all of them are so confident looking. I guess this is one of the crucial potential that has to be show by a performer.

Soon, not long after Manhand and some of the performer went to backstage, me and Renee were told to go the entrance and we'll be in charge of checking the tickets and give them the free drinks as promised.

*Seriously, I didn't know that buy a concert ticket will get a complimentary drink. Some more is Jack Daniel + Coke! Nice isn't?*

Luckily the fans didn't go all the way rushing and running into the place. Instead, they're all queue up, kinda quietly show the security tickets they bought and then they walk towards us to claim their drinks. Things were going smoothly and after most of the people went into the place, Renee and I were told to go to the V.I.P area to serve drinks.

I wonder how many times we have to shift our place. LOL!

Not long after we start serving drinks to those V.I.Ps, here they are.... Coming out on stage with all the style and the passion for music.

*Von in this super gorgeous black gown alike dress. Looks stunning!*

*Everybody were focusing on stage, watching each and every movement of all the members of Manhand. Somehow I think they're quite good in live singing!*

Seriously, while we're holding the tray with few cups of drinks on it, we're watching at the stage too. I never knew that work in a concert can be something fun like this.

Nobody will bother to get drinks from you since most of them were watching the concert, so we just have to walk here and there with drinks on tray and act like we're busy. LOL!

Around 10p.m, our supervisor tell us that we can start slow down serving drinks and the free flow of drinks will stop by 10:30p.m. From that time, we just have to mingle around and make sure everything is ok. Do you know what does that mean?

CAMWHORE TIME!!!! XD

*Took this 'hand' back home with me that night. Something to be remind me of this very night.*

*Reiko and Charlotte babe.*

*Camwhore inside toilet. Haha!!!*

*Kinds miss my black hair days.*

*So hard to impersonate as Monroe. I want to be as sexy and graceful as her can?*

*3 Marilyn Monroes.*

*Somehow, I like the 'frame' of this photo.*

*It was fun camwhoring while working! XD*

*All the girls. Too bad I forgot the names of the two girls from left. Sorry babes!!!*

*Clients and our agent cum supervisor.*

Haha, I guess you've seen enough my working photos (or my photos to be exact), here's some of the stage photos I took when the concert was going on.

*Some artist from Hong Kong, as guest artists for this concert.*

*The stage.*

*Manhand changed into another set of costume, circus themed I perhaps?

*Encore session. All the guest artists and performers were invite onto the stage. Such a happy big family.*

The concert ended at 11:30p.m, and we girls get to take photos with all the crews and performers in this concert.

*The effort of each and everyone in this photo has made the concert a successful one.*

*Manage to snap a quick photo of me and Von from Manhand. She's such a stylo isn't?*

Some Surprise Guests from the Concert:

*Namawee! LOL! He's one funny guy lo. Hahahahaha~!*

Right after I serve drinks and take photos with Namawee, I saw this guy standing beside but somehow the lighting inside the hall is really insufficient I can't really tell whether HE is he. Right at this time, his friend ask me to get some drinks from him and that's the time I saw him... REALLY is him!

*Gary Cao!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!*

Seriously, I cannot resist myself from being all hyper and excited after I saw him, standing there enjoying himself at the concert. I tell myself to be courage enough to ask for photo. I asked his friend (who get drinks from me) whether I can take a photo with him, his friend ask me to ask Gary's manager.

Then, I asked Gary's manager. Maybe I look pitiful or something, even though he's worried that if Gary's appearance known by other people MAYBE will cause some chaos, somehow he agreed to let me take photo with Gary.

Thank you very much for letting me take photos with you, Gary! Love your songs many many much! ( Hint: I think in that period, I'm quite fated to meet this guy, I met him once again, will blog about it soon.)

*What a happy working experience!!!*

Confession of A Procrastinator

Sometimes, I feel very, very bad that I always procrastinate things whenever I feel like wanting to be a procrastinator.

I can be draggy when it comes to waking up for work, doing make-up, picking clothes etc etc... Somehow I always tell myself that: Okay, I'll do what what on what time, so time should be enough for me and I won't be late. But sometimes, I will still be late or so. Sigh.

And of course, same thing goes for night time. Procratinate for remove make-up, bath, sleep etc etc. I admit, being a procrastinator is a very bad decision and this decision will ruin your life, un-finish businesses will always be around you.

There's this one thing that I feel quite embarass to be a procrastinator in is - Photos. To be exact, photos I took with my camera.

Usually, I'm the 'camera man' which take photos of people and stuff in a place/event/gathering (because I like to take photos, not because I got good skill, lol.). The end of the day, I will upload photos into my tiny netbook (which is super laggy), rotate and delete some indelicate ones.

So, after viewing all photos, this tiny lil voice will start to whisper in my mind:

"Are you going to process the photos now in Adobe Photoshop? If you open Photoshop super laggy wor, and you have to edit most of the photos that got you in it (because I'm not photogenic I admit. T_T), resize them too.... Then, you have to use your super slow Digi line to upload these photos one by one to facebook...."

Walau! After I process everything already pass 3 hours(or more!)!???? I still want to online, check facebook, check for jobs, read some blogs and internet stuff, maybe blog a while or something, and then sleep, where the hell I have extra 3 hours to spend for processing photos!?

That's why, until today, there are like SUPER A LOT  folders of photos waiting for me to keep my laziness away so I will edit, resize them and post them in facebook/email them.

Seriously, feels quite paiseh that some of the people keep on reminding me about those photos, and I keep on saying busy will email them the photos soon. But honestly, I don't know how soon is my soon. Haihzzz....

There's this girl who directly shoot me in my face because of this. That was the 2nd time I met her, and we're in a club, when all the girls were going all high and start to take out their cameras to camwhore, she keep on saying: Upload photos and tag me k?

And when her eyesight focus on me, she point at me and say: You ar, no need la, you never upload your photos one. I've waited for so long for the photos she previously take during work time.

I am totally speechless. Maybe she doesn't mean it, but this indirectly reminds me of how bad is the habit of procrastinates thing which is maybe useful/meaningful to some people. Saddens me a lot that I'm being such an unreliable person to some people.

Sorry if I've made you wait for the photos... But I promise one day, you'll still get the photos as promised.

P.S: Recently work for Lancome new perfume launching, and purposely bring my baby camera to work just to capture some wonderful moments when working with some wonderful people. Another batch of photos waiting to be edit and upload. LOL!. Die me! X_X

P.S2: Super tired, not enough rest!

Me Not Dead

In fact, I'm pretty much alive and kicking on with jobs at the moment. Too many things to do too little time for myself to blog. Sigh. I wonder is it something to be happy for if I were to be as busy as this for the rest of my life.

Anyway, since I'm quite lazy to edit photos, so I shall post some photos that CY took. It's a TFCD photoshoot and yes, it's my very FIRST photoshoot to be exact. (First as in TFCD.)

Seriously, I think that I'm quite a camera shy person. I have no idea what to pose and how to pose gracefully and beautifully. I guess I didn't really put a lot of effort in my modelling part. *feels ashame*

Nonetheless, I still think all the photos were well taken by CY and his beloved Canon 7D, and there's still a lot, a lot, a lot of things that I can do to improve myself, such as posing, make-up, facial expression etc. I do hope that there'll be improvement of myself when you see next photoshoot of mine.(If there's any, LOL!)

Lazy to think of any captions. LOL! So just focus on photos. :)

Photos were taken and edit by CY, I haven't get the original copy of these photos, if I do, I'll try to post some other shots as well.

Me and my friend Sara Anne were the models for that day. We took more than 500+ shots. LOL! Can't wait to see other shots. XD

Tomorrow will be another busy day for me - 3 castings! Do hope that I can get selected for these castings. *pray pray*

P.S: I will post something more interesting, hopefully by tomorrow or on Thursday. :D Stay tune!

My Life Code Experience Chapter I - Miracle Super Tourmaline Rejuvenation Therapy / ST House

I think I've been dragging to post about my visit to Life Code for way too long! (Sorry Tammy and Chris.) Anyway, this will be the first post of my experience about Life Code.

And the main highlight of this post will be the Life Code's amazing Miracle Super Tourmaline Rejuvenation Therapy (Which can be shortened as ST Therapy).

*Although I've passed by Jln Yap Kwan Seng for so many times, this is the first time I enter Life Code. All thanks for the wonderful opportunity by Tammy and Chris.*

*There's this pretty garden located in the middle of the reception area, but we can't go inside tho.*

Just right before Chris (The beautiful product trainer who planned for this whole blogger review thingy) bring us to tryout their ST Therapy, she brought us to this Asia Spa and have a look around.

*The Asia Spa - very oriental, Asia feeling.*

*Wooden furnitures and earth tone interior designs. Really does make people feel calm and close to nature.*

*Some display of the NATURAL ingredients that Asia Spa use for their masks and stuffs.*

*Like I've said: Very Asia-ish.*

*There's nail spa available too if you like to pamper your nails.*

*Here's how the spa room looks like. Very Balinese kind of feel.*

*Asia Spa even won the Best Day Spa award in 2009!*

After a tour around Asia Spa, finally it's time to reveal what's ST Therapy and the 10 of us bloggers enjoying the therapy.

*Looks like some kind of Star Walk with all the lights.*

*The girls room.*

*Behind this door, it's the place where the ST Therapy will be conduct.*

Just so you know, Life Code GUARANTEE that you will see immediate skin whitening effect after spending 30 minutes inside this ST House, at least 1 - 2 degrees lighter! (Isn't this something to be crazy about for those skin whitening fanatics out there?!!!!)

*World's FIRST Skin Whitening House*

Basically, it's something like sauna session - Clothes off, just wrap a piece of towel all over you, find a nice spot and sit there for 30 minutes.

*Electromagnetic are embedded in bamboo walls, ceramic floor, multi-layer ceiling cabinet.*

*Electromagnetic which embedded in these ceramic balls.*

Apparently, everything in this room is electromagnetic embedded. Why you ask?

It's because these electromagnetic gemstones are able to release negative ions as vitamins into the air and far infrared to prevent and resolve sub-health problems. Besides the benefit of whitening, these negative ions are able to detoxify our body, making our body healthier.

That's not all, according to Chris, if you spend 30 mins in ST House, you'll burn 900 calories which equals to jogging as far as 9km! For those who wants slimming effect, I guess ST House is something you wanted to visit frequently.

During the 30 minutes inside this ST House, you'll be require to drink as much as 4 cups of water and you'll see some mist diffuse from the mist diffuser.

Weird? No! There's a reason behind.

Water provided there are active micro-dew beads purifies water a.k.a micro elements water. The water's elements are finer than Nano element and is able to absorb by our body easily, to avert free radical and prevent cells oxidation. Water that eliminates the toxic inside your body and able to balance the pH level, WOW!

While essential herbal mist diffuser is an unique herbal complex treatment developed by Chang Bai San Research Laboratory with over 100 types mixed of herbs. The mist is use to eliminate toxins due to prolong exposure in polluted environment and foods that accumulated inside our body over years. It's able to prevent diseases,  to slim, to tone and to firm our body.

*Last but not least, the Quantum Skin Activator.*

Quantum Skin Activator disperse melanin cells structure, hence boosts immediate whitening and skin rejuvenation. Your skin tone is guarantee to be 1 - 2 tones lighter after 30 minutes of therapy. Woot!! All hail the Quantum Skin Activator!!!

I think it's a bit confusing and wordy to read through all the facts, here's some summary after spending 30 minutes inside the ST House for the ST Therapy:

Whitening

Detoxifying

Anti-Aging

Slimming

*Woot woot! Time to take off our clothes and try it out! (Hands too itchy, Tammy too cute, can't resist myself to add a pair of cat's ear on Tammy. LOL!)

After 30 minutes later...

*Can't really see the after-effect through photos because the white balance is a bit off. Hmm....*

☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★

Here's some of my thoughts after the ST Therapy in ST House:

i) You won't feel suffocating like how it's like in Sauna room. The room is spacious enough and you can move around if you wish to.

ii) You'll start to sweat a lot after 5 - 10 minutes, but these are toxins which eliminates from your body, so you have to wipe it off immediately with small hand towel before it's absorb back into your body.

iii) Try to lean on those electromagnetic ceramic balls for more visible effect. You can feel the heat in your body and your skin will become reddish after the session.

iv) After the ST Therapy, you won't feel sticky like you just finish jogging or doing sports, in fact, you'll feel fresh and rejuvenate!

v) Even though you can't see the after effect in my photos, but yes, my skin become smoother and brighter according to Bun. He asked me: How come you look so fair? LOL! (Happy happy!)

vi) One of the after effect of this ST Therapy is - I feel super exhausted as I went to bed on 11pm and slept for 16 hours straight! LOL. I guess burning 900 calories / 'jogged for 9km' is something really tired for me.

Overall, I do feel that there's some immediate effects and changes to my skin and body after spending 30 minutes in the ST House. And it was totally fun talking and gossiping with Tammy and 8 other bloggers during the whole session.
