Yuzu

Japanese overload these days. I would just walk into Sakae Sushi and order two plates of shashimi to satisfy my cravings. Kena poison too deep. I blame Kampachi for the heavenly salmon sushi I had for the first time.

Decided to try Yuzu at The Gardens on our 13th monthversary. I know it's one of the Japanese fine dining around KL and People been telling that Yuzu taste better than Kampachi. ORLY? Let's see.

Le citrus

There's lots of variety of food in the menu and I spend quite some time to browse through the whole thing. Had a very hard time choosing which teishoku I want, and ended up with Sashimi teishoku while le bf go for Wasabi Wagyu Teppan à la carte.

Wagyu beef with house-made wasabi paste

Didn't manage to flip those wagyu beef over in time and led to one side overcooked than another. Yikes. Super wasted!!! But still, its beef were so juicy and tender, eating every piece of this I have to savour it to the max, while each and every piece value is high, I have to make myself remember how they taste like.

Sashimi Teishoku
There's obinmushi(teapot soup) in the set.

Flower shape carrot piece.

Beautifully decorated Salmon, butter fish and tuna and I-forgot-what-its-name sashimi and red shrimp.

Is it weird that I only like salmon sashimi? Lol. But to be honest, these salmon sashimi I had doesn't taste as exquisite as the ones I had back at Kampachi. It looks fresh, but its taste is just so-so. Doesn't have the 'heavenly' feeling at all, and absolutely didn't melt in my mouth. A tad bit disappointed.

The second I like most from the sashimi are butter fish! I like its buttery taste with its fresh fish meat taste combined, it's something very different from other sashimi. Especially when it is THIS fresh at Yuzu, definitely higher rating than the salmon sashimi.

Le bf decided to order Sukiyaki teishoku when his wagyu teppan turned out to be not filling enough for him. He ordered this teishoku with sashimi as side dish when he knew I didn't had enough from my set. lololol. He knows me best.

Sukiyaki Sashimi Teishoku

Look at the beautiful colours.

In my pov, I think Yuzu have very appealing appearance about their food. With all the flowers and decorations that makes their food looks as if it's something you will present to high class society and all, but the taste wise is just fresh but normal, doesn't make me squeal or say something like: Oishiiiii~~~ or WOW!!! lol. You know their food is just so-so when you don't get excited.

When the price of Yuzu were tad big higher than the normal Japanese restaurants but on par with Kampachi, I will go back to Kampachi if I have to choose.

Shut my mouth with Chrysanthemum. lol.

Cha-Guma Eye

Tried a new way of make-up today - 茶クマメイク (Brown dark eye circle make) which I read it in ViVi magazine Oct issue earlier today.

(Click to Enlarge or Right Click Open in New Tab)

It is a very easy make-up technique, but the point is to have flawless base/foundation. You have to cover your own dark eye circle to make the focus at the 'dark-circle' eyeshadow you apply, but not the real dark circle.

I use KATE eyebrow palette as eyeshadow this time, apply darkest colour at the end and the medium brown all the way to the inner corner of my lower eyelid. As for upper eyelid, I kept it very simple, just few dabs of Balm highlight powder. lol. Covered my eyebrow with KissMe eyebrow colour, drew inner upper eyeline, apply mascar both for upper and lower lashes. Light blush then lipgloss. Did this look and went to night market lololol.

Forever21 white flower headband

Enchanted Garden theme for Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration in Cheras Leisure Mall.
Launch this Sunday!

Nicely decorated link bridge. loves.

The number of visits I went to Cheras Leisure Mall is too damn high that when I go into one of my favourite shop there today - F Block to look see look see, the sales assistant greet me in such a cheerful voice and tell me: You can try'em on! + You're so slim.

Omg I feel so paiseh because I visit the shop so often but I seldom buy their clothes. Ratio like 10:1? LOL. I just enjoy looking at their stuff and see if there's any new arrivals. lol. I'm all into Fall Winter collection now so neon stuff is kinda not my cup of tea anymore.

Busy busy weekend ahead, work work work! Which is good hahaha. Wish you all happy weekend! ^_^

The F21 Eyes

This is what my friend first said to me when I meet her up: Wah, rocker style again? lololol. Shit, can't think of anything to wear for not fall into the 'street rock' group again??? I don't want to be so fixed into only one category of fashion style. Must change!!!!

High ponytail with 2 black and white scrunchies from Forever21 I bought earlier this week, I saw this model's lookbook shots behind the cashier counters with very bold eyeliner. Yeah, eyeliner, that's what inspires me of drawing my face today.

Light eyebrows, heavy eyeliners, mascara, light blush and lipstick + lipgloss. Le look of the day....

Monotone again. Lol.

Meet up le friends at Pavilion. Sad that Peiyue is leaving Malaysia for Philippines to work. Trying to sweet talk her into watch horror movie with me for that one last time before she left but to no avail. She looks damn cute and funny when watching horror movie, mostly just looking at her five fingers, she covers her eyes most of the time. haha.

Food and Chit Chat at Ben's. Perfect.

Then came this "let's try to take photo of each other contest" pops up. I'm using le phone + did some editing for them. lol. But... nobody take my photo one!!! T^T

Dreamy cute girl look.

He say he looks like modeling for watch advertisement hahahaha buay paiseh max!

Talk and talk nonstop. I wish we could hang out more often.

LOL we always do weird stuff + take weird pics.
