WeChat Party 2013

WeChat as just organized a super fun party last week at Club Neverland for all the bloggers in town! Thanks to Nuffnang for the invites I get to join this awesome party that night and had so much fun snapping photos and chit-chatting with them (although we have to shout at each other, lol).

Reached the venue before 7pm and a lot of bloggers are there already! After register myself and waited for Fish's turn, then we quickly explore what kind of fun activities available for us to experience. Then we saw this:

If you don't know, WeChat is a free mobile phone text and voice messaging app that's available to download in your smartphone's application store. WeChat has already reached 300million user worldwide as in January 2013 and counting. I really like how users of WeChat can text, voice messaging, photo/video sharing as well as broadcast message to different users at one time, making messaging an easier way in connecting people.

Not long after we took a seat somewhere near the stage, emcee of the night announced that the show will begin shortly, I can't wait to see who is the host and what entertainment lined up for our viewing pleasure.

Not long ago, WeChat had already announced their recently appointed ambassadors for Malaysia in a press conference - who is Lisa Surihani and Shaheizy Sam. Their TVC that will be show on local TV channels are played during the WeChat party.

There are few versions of TVC, which you like most?

Just when we're still talking about the TVC, Vivian Chua was invited on stage to perform and shortly after, Henley Hii was on stage as well and both of them performed duet on stage. This is my first time watching Henley Hii perform live. He's good!

Another celebrity performance - Awi Rafael

The whole party just keep us busy snapping photos of what's on stage. 10 guests were asked to go on stage to compete and the winner will get to walk away with a brand new iPad!!! The way that Mr. Rudy host the gaming session is so funny as well as all the replies in the group chat that were broadcast live on the spot. We had some pretty good laughs that night.

The flow of the whole rundown of programmes that night was well-planned. Guests managed to chat to each other, helped ourselves with many varieties of food as dinner, enjoyed watching the performance, laughed at the jokes that Mr. Rudy and guests pulled as well as some pretty good dance when DJ SykoGroove doing his thing before another round of lucky draw session which will decide another winner of the night who will walks away with iPad! (Too bad I don't have name card!)

I'm a jacket/sweater/hoodie freak, I owned so many by now but still I always forgot to bring one out sometimes, but this will be my (quickly scan my memories about jackets I own) first hoodie in floral prints!!! Guess it is totally in time for Spring :D

It is really a bad habit for keep on forgetting things to bring whenever I head out from my house, that's why I own tons of jackets/sweaters/hoodie because I just can't stand the vavavoom airconditioned shopping malls and gotta buy something to cover my shivering body everytime I forgot to bring one of my own. Been wanting a floral prints garments for quite some time, stepping into UNIQLO is just exactly where I'm gonna get what I want.

The whole idea of this Green Gate x UNIQLO design is "a marriage of Scandinavian design with a rich heritage of antique French and English rustic floral patterns and prints." (as written on the label attached with the hoodie.) Vintage floral prints is one of the elements I love, especially the French and English style. Although I haven't figure out what to pair with this floral hoodie, but I'm sure I'll figure it out sooner or later. lol.

It's quite some time I haven't step into a UNIQLO store and this UV Cut thingy is definitely new to me. On the card it says "This product offers UV Filtration features, that have been added during fabric processing. The ratings for clothing indicate how effectively clothing prevents sunburns. A UPF rating of 40 indicates it will take 40 times longer to get sunburned than with bare skin. UPF ratings higher than 15 are generally considered effective". With this, I'm protected from the sun's UV rays! Hooray!

This Green Gate hoodie came with finger hole cuttings, just like the UNIQLO UV Cut Casual Summer Clothing line! It was one of loveliest design ever! Not just it can protect the back of my hands from UV Rays, it covers and warms up my hands too under cold temperature. LOVESSSS!!!






Now this UNIQLO x Green Gate hoodie is running a promotion, selling at RM49.90 (One Utama's outlet). Other than this floral designs, there are so many colours and designs available! Like it? Own it!

MPH Masterclass Series - Amber Chia's Guide to Successful Modelling Career Launch

Thanks for the invitation, I was at Amber Chia's book launch at MPH, One Utama two days ago. So many familiar faces around it was like a mini Amber Chia Academy gathering.

The launch took place just outside the MPH's main entrance and so many big shots of fashion industry were there. Guest of honor was Dato' Jimmy Choo, he's like the brother of Amber.

Took quite some amount of photos with all my friends whom I haven't met for quite some time, miss them muchhhh! The next meet-up time will be the 3rd graduation show of Amber Chia's Academy I think.

Last but not least, congratulations to Amber for being the first to launch the book of the MPH Masterclass Series. It's selling at RM35.90, available in all MPH bookstores!

ViVi Star Search Finale 2013

I should start this post with "Once upon a time, there was a bunch of girls took part in the ViVi Malaysia Star Search contest..." Super long overdue post can!!! Most of you (especially avid ViVi Malaysia readers) already knew I'm not one of the top 3 winners for the contest, so... LOL!

Betcha wanna know what happened during the backstage right? Right? Haha! Actually nothing new, just a bunch of crazy girls go all high, non-stop of chit-chatting and non-stop of snapping photos. Hahahaha -end of story-. Here are my part of photos for that day:

It is truly a great experience for this ViVi Star Search. Never ever once in my life I could've imagine myself appear in the fashion spread of ViVi Magazine. *another thing to cross-off my bucket list* Met all the happy people, the 9 girls who are so friendly yet crazy at the same time, the ViVi Malaysia team who are so hardworking and caring, hair and makeup team who consistently delivering good hairdo and makeup, photographers who never give up on us taught us posing, friends and family who supported me all along, a big heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you!!! I love you all!!!
