LINE Disney Tsum Tsum: Cinderella Event

"Have courage and be kind", "a dream is a wish your heart makes", "no matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dreams that you wish will come true", these are all the fine quotes of Cinderella both movies and animation taught me since I was little, and I still find myself humming songs from the cartoon now and then.

Cinderella is one of the animation that influenced me since my childhood that being kind is the true way in dealing with every single matter in the world. Words cannot describe how elated I was watching the Cinderella movie last year and now, LINE Disney Tsum Tsum Japan has released a Cinderella event for players to relive the magical world of Cinderella again.

While LINE Disney Tsum Tsum US is having Star Wars event (which I've already done playing 2000 years ago Mwa-Ha-Ha) I've just completed the Cinderella event. Here's the simple walkthrough of this event:

Cinderella Event: Collect the magic in bottle and dress-up Cinderella

While accepting the challenge, each game you play there will be bottles filled with magic points drop in the Tsums and you need to break the bottle and collect magic points by using bombs or skills of your Tsum.

And if you're lucky, the magic bottle that broke will sometimes contained a Magical Party Time invitation which entitled you for a 12 seconds pure magic bottle breaking session.

There are 20 Cards throughout this event, upon completion there will be a Cinderella pin as reward!

Of course, clearing each and every card give you some rewards, such as hearts, coins, and bonus items.
Oh did I mentioned that Prince Charming Tsum is one of the reward too?

And here's how the game playing session looks like. I'm using Princess Leia as my Tsum ever since I got her as she is one of the Tsum that combines bombing skill as well as coin collecting efficiency in one Tsum, which is the qualities that I needed to complete the challenge.

Using Cinderella and Fairy Godmother will earn you extra magical point bonus but sadly I haven't attain either of them Tsum in my collection boo-hoo.

And as aforementioned, some magic bottles contained invitation to a Magical Party Time which allows you to break as many magic bottles as you could in 12 seconds to collect magical points to complete all the 20 cards. Too bad points aren't allowed to bring forward for the next card.

When clearing my card number 2

Clearing each and every card will help dress-up Cinderella in one of the 3 cards

Three version of Cinderella: Cinderella in the Pink dress that she made for herself to attend the royal ball, Cinderella in the magical blue dress which her Fairy Godmother granted her wish and last but not least, Cinderella in her wedding dress.

By completing one of the card, the reward is Prince Charming Tsum. By using his skill, you can see both him and Cinderella waltz down the screen and clear Tsums from their dance path.

At last, the completion of Cinderella event entitled an exclusive Cinderella pin for name decorating purpose.

I've used up around 120-150 hearts to complete this event and these are some of the statistics of the my gaming experience:

  • Average magical points collected: 35
  • Highest magical points collected per game: 45
  • Lowest magical points collected per game: 15
  • Highest magical points collected for Magical Party Time: 210
  • Lowest magical points collected for Magical Party Time: 155

I guess I'll still try for my luck for getting Cinderella and Fairy Godmother Tsums while the event is still going on because both of the Tsums come with special theme song, I'll definitely want Cinderella Tsum that plays the song"A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes" as it's my favourite song from the

Till next event!

Find Love Through Rose Coloured Glass

When I meet someone attractive, I would love to strike an interesting conversation with him and try to leave good impression and hopefully from there starts an great journey of relationship be it friendship or love (hopefully the latter ones lol).

But the truth is, whenever I meet someone attractive, I would've been tongue-tied. Or even when I'm not, my conversation would be rather boring and dull compare to the interesting topics I talk with my friends. Therefore, expect silence from me if you first meet me and I find you're attractive hahahahaha.

Later on, I found another way to increase my *charisma* among those whom I wish to strike an interesting conversation, it is by consume a few sips of alcohol. I'm not an alcohol person as I suspect myself is alcohol-allergic. I will get cold, heart pounding like someone try to break out from it, headache, and vomit all night. My conditions are bad if too much alcohol intake but just a few sips does wonders!

Was invited to Mixology Cocktail Appreciation Night held at ICE Gallery, Pantai Sentral Park and it was one hella cool place to held such an event at. And best of all, I manage to get my woman Jean on the invitation for this cocktail event as everybody knows she's a cocktail lover, she would definitely appreciates the drinks more than I could!

Cool sculpture

My date of the night, managed to doll her up in my lipstick too!

This Mixology Cocktail Appreciation Night invited Joshua Ivanovic, professional mixologist and 42 Below Cocktail World Cup 2008 Champion, representing Cocktails-Solutions and Pernord-Ricard Malaysia to specially curate cocktails for all the guests that night. Did I tell you that he's such an eye candy when he's mixing the cocktails that night that got everyone snapping photos of him?

I guess the only words to describe him at work is "SEXY"!

Warm-up drinks specially made by Joshua Ivanovic
I love this raspberry cocktail mix using Absolute ELYX

While we're sipping our cocktails and chit-chatting with other guests, I can't help but notice how beautiful the settings around us are. ICE Gallery of Pantai Sentral Park is a gallery showroom with beautiful sculptures of future construction developments at the area and it is promised to be one of the advance green living concept around Klang Valley.

Look at these beautiful structure of buildings that resembles mountains

And the highlight of the night at this beautiful place would be this:

short tête-à-tête session with Joshua

Being cocktail world cup champion and entrepreneur who have his own cocktail bar business after worked for famous bars around the world, Joshua's satisfaction comes from when guests appreciates the cocktail he made as every cup/glass of cocktail are being put 120% effort to curate into perfection. Simple classics selections are Joshua's favourite as classic never gets old, some lucky guests were invited to make Martini with Joshua.

The hardest part in preparing a glass of Martini is the stirring part

In order to prepare Martini, a lot of ice are needed and the art of stirring/swirling in semi-vigorous manner after the mix pour into glass pitcher. The ice friction will cause a chain reaction of cold and by gently stirring it will not bruise the gin (changes of taste in gin). Ice melt dilution need to be observe during the progress and Joshua is very good in this!

The Mixology Cocktail Appreciation Night ended with laughter after two sessions guests making Martini and Dirty Martini and after me and Jean finished sipping our glass of cocktail, we decided to roam around ICE Gallery to catch some fresh air. My alcohol-intolerance is making me tipsy with just one glass of cocktail. lol.

And guess what, we found some beautiful place to take photos too - fairy lights!

Playing with beautiful lil flowers that randomly grow at roadside is fun

Feeling the Coachella vibe lol

Well it seems that my charisma level isn't going up that night for enabling strangers to come talk to me or me them but it was fun learning the steps of preparing Martini and also having fun conversations and doing silly stuff with Jean after some drink. I guess I'll have to level up my drink game next round.

"Mind if I get drunk with you?"

Make Happy with Kipling Spring Summer 2016

I love to go on a date. Which girl doesn't right? I remember the first time I went to a date was with my secondary school puppy love and it was kinda like a disaster. We're both 14, 15 years old, go on a date with my besties by taking LRT to KLCC and so many silly things happened.

I still remember how I felt embarassed when he's standing at the exit barrier of LRT waiting for his LRT ticket to come out, which it's not gonna after credit being deducted. I know it's bad to felt embarassing because of some silly things your partner did but how was I gonna know at such young age? Can't help but laughed back at myself right now and glad that I know better.

If you ask me one of my dream date location, I would say it will be the Zoo. I love to sink myself in the sound of nature, the Old Mother Nature's recipe is good for both body and soul, and the songs of animals singing made me feel like I'm a little child again. I would love to see both myself and my loved ones happily walking and running and laughing among the animals while learning more bout them.

When Kipling extended their invitation to me and my friend for the premiere of The Jungle Book, I was so happy because I watched the animated version of Jungle Book when I was little and I can still hum Baloo's Bare Necessities song today! It was one of my happy childhood memories my parents instilled in me and I'm so excited that with Kipling, refreshing this fond memory of mine has been refreshed in a happier colours!

Kipling Spring Summer Collection 2016

What does Kipling have to do with Jungle Book you may ask. The author of Jungle Book Rudyard Kipling is where the brand's name originate from! Three friends who created the sporty, functional and affordable crinkled nylon fabrics bags liked the tale of Jungle Book where spirit of fun and adventure took place in the story which founders of Kipling would like those spirit be found in the bags that they made too and spread it all over the world.

Aside from Kipling Spring Summer Collection 2016, the event introduced KAEON Collection of Kipling which has the casual yet feminine touch. Designed to satisfy modern women's needs for bags that are vibrant in colour, functional with distinctive designs, KAEON collection catches my eyes at the event.

Leopard among the Kiplings

My favourite will be this Blocky Friend from the KAEON Collection

Movie Date of the night

Kipling makes me happy!

Remake of Jungle Book didn't disappoint at all! All of them furry animals looked so real as if Mowgli is a real person who lives in this real world. The story flow and actions did made me stay on the edge of my seat most of the time and I realised I didn't really managed to breathed deeply throughout the movie because it was so tensed! Most of all managed to watch this movie with my best friend really made my night!

Last but not least, managed to donned in the leopard print Mad-To-Measure dress of Melson Kuala Lumpur feels like strawberry topping on a fresh cream cake! Thank you Melvin for the pretty dress, love it!

tell me I look fabulous in this!

Last over-exposure photo to end this wonderful post
Happening night for both of us. I swear I saw her jumped from her seat when Shere Khan charged towards the screen lol!

Anne Elizabeth The Deli Restaurant, Taman Segar, KL

Whenever me and Peiyue passed by Taman Segar, she would told me Facebook posts she read about Anne Elizabeth and finally, we get to try this porky deli restaurant who got everyone queueing up looking for empty seats during dinner hours even on weekdays!

Look at the insane crowd on a Tuesday night

Thought it will be wise to have dinner at Anne Elizabeth on weekday dinner hours but turn out there's long queue even though it rained heavily an hour before our arrival. The heavy rain can't put out the burning passionate flame of food hunters eh? Jammed all the way from Setapak and late for an hour, pity my teacher Pn. Chew waited for us for an hour and finished her meal before we even arrived.

After ordered drinks at our table, we headed into the restaurant to place order for food choices.

The Menu

Look at all these yummilicious pork delis.

It took us a while to browse through all the choices of sausages, bacons and hams that are available, there are just so many and I wanted to try them all! In the end these are what we've ordered for our dinner:

Creamy Mushroom & Bacon Soup, RM9

Although the mushroom soup doesn't taste superbly rich and creamy with mushroom bits and was a tiny bit watery, the bacon bits did compliment the soup in another way by adding taste and chewy texture to the bowl of soup.

Mashed Potato, RM6.90
Peppered mashed potato with aromatic gravy sauce, this smooth mushy potato is such a wonderful delight for starved tummy like ours while waiting for our mains to be done cooking.

Portobello Mushroom, RM7.45(per piece)

I remember the first thing Peiyue told me that she wanted is this Portobello Mushroom filled with cheese. We're cheese fanatics, really am, and this portobello mushroom satisfied our appetite for both cheese and mushroom. It would be wonderful if they added some bacon bits to the melting cheese, totally best served hot!

Bacon & Cheese Pasta, RM21.90
Another cheese dish of the night. Pasta was perfectly cooked, coated with cheese sauce, parmesan cheese and bacon bits. Each and every bite of this pasta is calling for another bite more. I hope it is not me for being to hungry which made me bias in my taste of this dish.

Our selection of the night
Streaky Bacon - 5 pieces RM16.20
Back Bacon - 5 pieces RM16.20
Pork Ribs - RM25.90
Hungarian Sausage - RM11.90
Pork Cheese Sausage - RM6.90

These are our selection of bacons and sausages of the night. They marinated all these superbly well, each and every bite of the pork ribs are tender and juicy, same goes to the bacons and sausages. I can taste the freshness of meat and I'm starting to understand the hype about Anne Elizabeth and people queueing up for these! 3 adults 1 kid shared a plate of this and got our belly filled with all these porkylicious goodness! And not to forget, they have pretty good service as our needs are attended to immediately and the friendly owner greet us with warm and lovely smile too!

Overall, it was a yummy dinner and a treat by my teacher for thanking my help months ago to makeup her students in a dance competition. Thank you for this wonderful dinner teacher, it was a warm gathering too as it has been months since I last meet Pn. Chew and Jason, and I'm glad we had a fun conversation over all these délicatesse to be remember!

Mint Green is The New Black

I ran out of idea, literally, on what colour should I change my hair colour to. As you know the fickle minded and easily bored personality of  a Gemini can be hard to satisfy when there's nothing new to her unsatisfying need of changing. Thank god for Jolleen for suggesting "mint green" and that kinda crossed this colour of my hair colour bucket list!

To achieve mint green colour on asian dark hair based was never easy. Bleaching process have to be done perfectly to eliminate dark colours on hair in order to show the mint green. I love all kind of hair colour but it is the bleaching process that gives me shivers as it will make my scalp sensitive and therefore the pain that comes with it.

This time with a different mixture of bleach, Jolleen and Daniel managed to bleach my hair without any sensitive issues occured! Therefore this time the bleaching process is a breeze, making it easy for the mint green to be coloured on my hair.

I've recorded some videos during the process and made it into a short clip. 40 over seconds of clip cannot describe the few hours time I have to sit on the chair waiting for each process to take time and change my hair into something new. But I tell you the outcome of these hours spent is totally worth it!

And voilà!

It is not exactly a vavavoom colour to look at as it is more subtle on my hair comparing to those high contrast mint green colour on others, but I like it! It matches with my attitude nowadays as I'm thinking of stepping down from the hair colour game and give myself and my hair some rest. Too much exciting colours for last two years has dulled my senses, I need to give myself some time off, to receive inspiration and start anew.

Just like learning a new language, having new hair colour can be quite life changing in some sense. I always encourage my friends around me to change their hairstyle and colours whenever they asked for my advise as I know how wonderful one can feel with all the confidence when one owns a beautiful crown on their head!

Last but not least, thank you to Jolleen, Daniel and EVO Fabuloso Pro for their wonderful patience and this hair colour. Every hair colour I changed, it breathes new personality into me, changing me and mold me into someone that I wouldn't know I would be.
