SHARP Plasmacluster Blogger Workshop

The environment and everything surrounding us is becoming more and more important. Best things in life are free, but that doesn't mean we have to take them for granted right? Look at the polluted air and environment around us nowadays, sometimes I think these are what making us fall sick or even worse, mutation of human genetics.

I am glad that I was invited to SHARP's Plasmacluster workshop by Nuffnang which was held at Blue Med Restaurant, MidValley. That's where I learned that how a ion plasmacluster exclusively from SHARP can change our environment that benefit us and our health. This is why they are the hot selling ion plasmacluster manufacturer that have so many users under the brand SHARP.

I'm going to show you briefly, what I managed to learn about Ion plasmacluster and SHARP that afternoon.

This is the speaker of the workshop - Mr. Chew.
He's kinda funny you know.

The beginning of the workshop is kinda like, you know, all the statistic and scientific names of bacterias and chemistry/physics and all, so I can't really remembered + since this happened quite some time ago. All I do know is SHARP ion generator/ air purifier can eliminates virus and bacteria at every corner.

Mr. Chew with an air sampler

Air sampler, to test how much ion there is in the air. Air is something we breather into our body, but because it is transparent, we can't really differentiate good air and bad air, right? (Okay unless it smells bad la of course) We breathe the air into our lungs when there are millions and millions of virus and bacterias in it, so how do we filter all these virus and bacterias in the air? Yes, by purifying the air.

SHARP Ion Plasmascluster Air Purifier/ Ion Generator generates thousands and thousands of ions and release them into the air and destroy the viruses and bacterias. The ions that the air purifier generates are same as the ions that are release in the woods, in the forests - The positive and negative ions together, that's what the nature provides us too.

Here something that's been on my mind: How do these positive and negative ions that are released from the air purifier able to kill the viruses or what's harming our body in the air? Just like us, the viruses and bacterias need water to survive, and the ion form hydroxide (OH) radicals adhere to the surfaces of viruses and mold and the OH radicals instantly remove the hydrogen from them, breaking them down. These results are tested and have been proven effected at Hiroshima University Graduate School of Advanced Sciences of Matter.

Not just viruses, even suspended mold can be remove as well with the High-Density Plasmacluster Ion generator.
The test was witnessed by all of us, performed by Mr. Chew.

If you're living in some place with very little air circulation, you cook or you have a neighbour who loves to cook curry or some delicious food with strong aroma, no doubt there'll be odors clinging in the air, and it doesn't really smells good because the odor just won't go away. In this case, Mr. Chew proved to us that SHARP's Ion Plasmacluster Air Purifier can removed the odor in just seconds.

Spraying ammonia on the cotton.

Feels bad for this fella, he has to smell that piece of cotton to ensure the smell is there.

And just by holding the cotton near to the Forward Ion Dispersal, the smell gone in just seconds.
I'm impressed!

And so does the 40million SHARP users, they are impressed by what goodness SHARP brings to their life.

SHARP has designed the Plasmacluster Ion Generator for our everyday use. No matter where you are, whether you're in your car driving, at your kitchen cooking, taking public transportation or even, like me, facing the computer at home or at office, there is always this suitable Plasmacluster Ion Generator that suits the place and lifestyle you're living.

And did I tell you that the Ion can actually boost up the beauty in you? There's a range of Plasmacluster Beauty Care from SHARP that caters for those "beautynista" like me.

Steve from the famous Japanese hair salon Number76 was invited to demo how SHARP Ion Hair Conditioning Dryer.

Just like how we do it, Steve does the hair drying by fingers.
Magic fingers he said. lol.

Hair at the right side were more smooth and shiny looking compare to the left ones.
The SHARP Hair Conditioning Dryer prevents hair damage by controlling Static Electricity.
Prevents tangling so brushes and fingers can run through hair smoothly.

Cheesie get her hair dried using the SHARP Hair Conditioning Dryer too.
In fact, guests can get their hair blow straight by Steve during the event. Yay!

And little did I know, that Nuffnangers that get invited to this workshop are eligible to participate in a SHARP Plasmacluster Ion Generator Creative Decoration competition. It began right after the tea time served and I'm one of the participant. ^_^

Stuff we get to used to decorate the Air Purifier.

All I need now is some creative ideas and inspiration.

10 participants, 10 designs.

Look at them unique and colourful Air Purifier.

Initially, there's only ONE winner for this competition, but Mr.Chew and the rest of the team members from SHARP Malaysia had a hard time deciding who will be the winner, so... EVERYBODY GETS A SHARP PLASMACLUSTER ION AIR PURIFIER!!! Wooohooo~! Such a generous company, seriously this is my first time encounter this and everybody is the winner. Everybody is happy. Yayy!!!

Since this event happened quite some time ago, I've been using the air purifier all these while and I will say, it works amazingly as my room is quite stuffy usually, but now, with this air purifier, feels the air is fresher. No any odors of curry as my neighbor got the awesome skill of cooking curry or belacan early in the morning, clinging odors in the air is one of my biggest headache. Thanks to SHARP Malaysia for your generosity.

Fill the air with love with SHARP's Plasmacluster Ion Generator Today.

Star Trek: Into Darkness in TGV IMAX 3D

I don't know anything about Star Trek basically, like totally ZERO knowledge about it. The only thing I know that's related to Star Trek are these:

Hahahahahaha MEMES.

I am not a geek, I don't really into sci-fi movies BUT Star Trek: Into Darkness totally changed my perception towards Star Trek and triggered my interest towards it. Thank you TGV cinemas and Tammy who invited me to the premiere of Star Trek: Into Darkness 3D, I get to experienced the most intense, awesome supersonic galactic movie watching experience.

And did I tell you that Kuala Lumpur Star Trek Fans Club did dressed up and cosplay for this premiere? They're so cool can!!!

Some of the Trekkies that dressed-up as Star Trek characters.
I really wonder where they get those Star Trek uniform.

I've been thinking of what to wear, since it's a premiere and I was told that there will be a cosplay session. I wanted to wear something resembles Star Trek but I have none, and so I wear the top I borrow from my friend and pair it with skinny jeans and a pair of boots which I just bought at Forever21 one day before the premiere. Then voila, I am a part of the Star Trek team hahaha.

Any resemblance? Hehehe

Luckily Tammy was there to help me take photos with the cosplayers. Thank you sweetie.

Salutation ala Vulcan style.

Everybody wants to be Captain.

If you visit TGV Cinemas at One Utama, you will find that there are one captain chair. Everybody loves captain chair, and wants to sit on the captain chair. I had my taste of being a Star Trek Captain for few minutes, you should to.

With their communicator device.
They take cosplay into serious matter, props are a MUST!

Captain and his crew.
Ready to explore to the galaxy, to places where no man has gone.

Wow I get a communicator device to post with!!!

Trekkies are one of the friendliest cosplayer and fans I have ever encountered. They keep on giving me communicator and devices to post with. Hahaha. Although I know mostly guys are camera shy but that day they are so brave they posed in front of the cameras for so long, all because of the love they have for Star Trek! Kudos to them.

This is my first time watching IMAX 3D of the movie and I must say: YOU HAVE TO WATCH THIS MOVIE IN IMAX 3D!!! The visual-effect is so stunning it will blow you away. Have you think of how it feels to live in the future? Where can travel from planet to planet and space warp here and there? IMAX 3D pretty much give you a very real and convincing experience that I literally lost myself in space. It's like living in year 2259.

The characters face feature is so surreal as if they're acting in front of us, as if I can touch them if I reach out my hands, what can be more exciting than a movie-watching experience as awesome as this? ONLY available in TGV IMAX 3D I tell ya! Plus we get pretty movie posters and one is glow in the dark type! Woohoo. Thank you to TGV Cinemas and Tammy again for this awesome and unique movie viewing experience.

Don't forget to catch Star Trek: Into Darkness at TGV IMAX cinema starting this weel. It totally worth every cent spent!!!

I guess I can't wait to be Captain of USS Enterprise.
Ooh yeah~ Captain chair is so comfortable!!!

Mother's Day, Year 2013

My mum is a strong and tough woman who fight for a lot of things in life. She's kinda busy all the time and we couldn't find a good timing to spend dinner together with all the family members except celebration day like today - Mother's Day.

I couldn't go back to Ipoh to accompany Xuan this week due to work, so I celebrate today with my mum and my family instead. Decided to head over to Publika in the afternoon but what's keep running in my mind is: What to eat? Which restaurant? Initially decided to dine at B.I.G but they're closed (we reached kinda late as my family's dinner time is kinda late compare to others). We walked around and I saw Rakuzen so suggested that. No objection heard, so that's it.

I've only had Rakuzen once with my friend and that was a long, long time ago, about 4 - 5 years? LOL. I remembered their food taste pretty delicious so I guess it'll be a good choice. Rakuzen currently having Spring Season menu as well, we ordered some from it too.

Haru no Mikaku, The Taste of Spring
Love the design!

Le mum and dad.

We spent quite some time browsing through their menus and deciding what to order. Rakuzen offers plenty of choices when it comes to Japanese cuisine. The only dish I'm interested is Salmon Sashimi. lol. We discuss and discuss then finally ordered these:

Sayori Sashimi
(half fish)
RM20

Hahaha, when Sayori sashimi arrived at our table we're like... Is this the sashimi of ikan bilis or something? The portion is so friggin small I LOLED! Hahahahaha. My dad couldn't stop laughing as well. Glad that this Sayori is not my type of fish or else I'll cry begging for more.

Sake no Oyako Sashimi Sanshumori
(Salmon, Salmon Belly and Salmon Roe)

The salmon sashimi taste fresh and the chef cut it into thick pieces and I just couldn't stop nomming these. The dish gone in just 1 minute. LOL. Salmon roe is my brothers favourite so I leave it to them to finish it up.

Unaiyu Zen
RM38

I'm not a big fan of Unagi but my brother is, he ordered this Unagi rice in hotpot that smells so nice when the dish was sent to our table. The female waitress helped to mixed the rice, unagi and the sauce together. The sizzling sound and good smell really get us all hungry. The set comes with clear soup in pot as well.

Chicken Katsu Curry Rice
RM26

Satisfying portion of chicken katsu curry rice that able to give my bro who is big in appetite to actually feel full after he gulp the whole plate. My brother have an appetite like a black hole and this Chicken Katsu Curry Rice deserved an award. Haha. Taste good, not that sweet, a hint of spiciness and its curry just smells so good!

Nabemono Udon and Salmon Don Zen
RM38

Didn't try the udon but I had half of the Salmon Don. Just like the salmon sashimi platter, the Sashimi in this Salmon Don were cut into thick pieces too. Yummilicious! Chawanmushi is soft and smooth but not taste of egg imo.

Another drooling dish from the Spring Menu -
Lobster Mentaiyaki
RM30

It was tad bit salty according to my parents but I find it quite nice. Not a big fan of lobster meat but still acceptable and goes well with Mentaiyaki. Mentaiyaki is my favourite!!! My dad keep munching on the cucumber slices with sesame salad dressing, he say that tastes better than the main dish. Hahaha. I think imma buy one bottle of sesame salad dressing for him tomorrow.

Thankful that we can sit together and celebrate Mother's Day with all the good food. Although it's just a mere few hours of gathering but I'm grateful for it. Hope my mum enjoyed the dinner as much as we do. Once again Happy Mother's Day to all the great mothers in this world, you ladies totally deserve a nice celebration on this day.

A not-so-formal family portrait. lol.

Clean & Sleek

Struggled for quite some time before decide the hair colour. Couldn't go blonde/other more striking colours as I have shows coming up, so decided to back to basic.

Such a long, long time since I last have hair colour this dark that it's almost black. The colour will fade off bit by bit after every hair wash so I'm waiting for the blue and purple tones to show.

But for today, I go for a clean & sleek look first. Can't wait to attend the blogger review session later! Tell you more about it soon! :D
