Number76

This is one of the best birthday gift I've received this year, and all thanks to Yuri-san who linked up me with number76 salon's Masaki-san. Yuri-san is my beloved manager who manage to get me the sponsorship from number76, arigatou gozaimasu! And so, there marked my first visit to number76 salon's Mont Kiara branch.

number76, I just love the name.
I have a thing with the number 6 and 7, maybe because these are my lucky number + birthday perhaps?

This is my first time visit number76 salon, and the first Japanese hair salon that I go to. It is something like a dream come true as I always wanted to try Japanese hair salon's services but there wasn't any really good ones until number76 start their business at Malaysia.

I'm pretty nervous but there's alot of latest Japanese magazine to read. lol

My hair is pretty damage by the time I visit number76, chemical damage is quite severe and split ends everywhere. Even I myself feel that is hopeless to make my hair look nice and smooth anymore. Mission impossible I would say.

See? Haihz.

Initially I wanted to dye my hair into a more blue-ish colour, as a new look to celebrate my birthday. After the evaluation by number76's director Sato-san, he think it will further damage my hair and maybe I have to cut short my hair due to the damage. So he suggested I do the Ultra-Sonic Iron and one of their latest addition hair treatment called Tansan Hair Wash. Of course I have no disagreement on what he suggest.

So here comes my experience on the Ultra-Sonic Iron and Tansan Hair Wash :D

Enjoying Tansan hair wash~ Bliss!

Many of you maybe thinking what is Tansan Hair Wash. Tansan, 碳酸, CO2 hair wash is a hair wash to instantly remove all the dirt and chemicals that clogged up the scalp, hair pores and on hair itself as well. Number76 is the first hair salon that have Tansan hair wash service and seriously, it is a big hit! I can see and feel the difference of my hair IMMEDIATELY!

They have this water pressure to wash away the dirts on scalp which I think normal water pressure while we shower and wash our hair don't, and the shampoo and conditioner smells so good! My friend told me that day my hair smells superbly good and he's obsessed with it hahahaha. Silicones from the hair products we use daily will stick to our hair, Tansan hair wash is to wash off the chemicals so that the scalp and hair can breathe better, and also, treatments can be absorb into scalp and hair better.

Ultra-Sonic Iron, the signature treatment of Number76

Ultra-Sonic Iron, is also the magic treatment that's known among the customers of Number76 salon. The treatment uses ultrasonic waves iron instead of normal heat iron, vibrating at 37,000 beats per hour, it is an iron unlike others. It separates particles like protein, water and oil so that the effect of glowy, smooth hair effect will last longer than normal heat iron treatment.

You can't feel any heat from the iron, so it is totally fine if you touch the ultra-sonic iron even when it's turned on. I can not believe how my hair looks after the Ultra-Sonic iron treatment and Tansan hair wash, it's like as if I grow new hair and the outlook and texture is so fine, I've never seen my hair that way! Not even after treatment at other hair salons.

Thank you Sato-san for the trimming.

Look at how serious Sato-san is doing his job.

And here is the final outcome for my hair:

TADAAA!!! OMG!!!! IS THIS MY HAIR!????

I can never believe my hair nor the feel when my hands touches my hair. It is so soft, so smooth as if all my previous damaged hair are gone and I grow new hair. The magic treatment of Ultra-Sonic Iron and also Tansan Hair Wash did live up to its reputation, and I think every girl should at least try it and witness the magical moment of transforming your hair to a healthy, glowy and shiny princessy locks.

Thank you Sato-san for all the services.

Thank you Number76 for such wonderful hair service!

For those who wanted to try the Tansan Hair Wash, there's a promotion going on for the month of July!  Number76 will be having up to 50% off promotion for this month, now at RM25 (normal-price RM50) if you're doing it with other services such as cut, perm, coloring etc. If you wanted to experience the sparkling scalp experience only, the service will be RM65 (normal-price RM90).

KISS Mineral Makeup Bloggers Workshop

Link up by Fatin and Faceworks Clinic, Me, Jean and Lisa got invited to an intimate blogger workshop by KISS Mineral Makeup x Faceworks Clinic not long ago. It was a quite amazing discovery that there's something about make-up and mineral make-up that I wasn't aware of. Of course, am gonna share what I learned that day here with you all today.

KISS Mineral Make-up, the 100% mineral make-up that you can find in Malaysia
Recommended by doctors and professionals.

Make-up has become my daily, or ALMOST daily routine that I have to practice, and everybody knows how conventional make-up products are doing harm to our skin each day. Eventhough we protect our skin with skincare products and also make-up base, make-up products loaded with all sorts of chemicals are made into tiny particles nowadays so that the make-up will stay fit all day. It is not a good sign as these small particles will clogged up our skin's pores and did harm more than good.

There are so many so-called mineralized make-up nowadays available in the market, but they are still not 100% mineral make-up like KISS that Faceworks Clinic is promoting, hence it is not as beneficial as 100% mineral make-up is. Although just recent years that mineralized make-up is becoming more and more popular in the market, but the fact is mineral make-up is already been used by one of the most beautiful empress of all time - Cleopatra back in her glorious Egyptian days. Yes, we're talking about thousands years back.

in case you don't know, this is how Cleopatra's make-up is.
And yes, she's using all minerals to do her make-up back in those days.

Priscilla, she's the person in charge of the KISS Mineral Make-up

Just a small portion and generally showing what are the products of KISS Mineral Make-up

Like I mentioned before, mineral make-up isn't something new in the market. In fact, mineral make-up has been used for thousand and thousand of years back in the Cleopatra era. The Egyptians discovered the benefits of minerals, hence they use them to cover their face, which slowly evolve into something we call "Make-up" today.

The Egyptians, Greeks and Romans used mineral as make-up, such as black kohl and green malachite were used by Egyptians while Greeks and Romans use chalk, honey and iron oxide. These "Earth Colour" are all natural, made of minerals from the ground on earth. These minerals can prevent eye diseases, protecting skin from climate changes and also some minerals are known for cooling effect on the skin after application. KISS Mineral Make-up are here to bring the brand's users back to what mineral make-up is for - protect our skin instead of doing harm to it.

With Lisa, ready to try KISS now!

Here I am, gonna try the 100% au-naturale make-up products. First thing first, remove the light make-up I've done on the day itself:

Using KISS Advanced Vita-C Milky Cleanser
I love this cleanser so much, it smells like orange.

Before we start our own, Priscilla is going to demo on Dr. Marr of Faceworks Clinic of how to use the products, and we just have to follow the steps.

Cleansing time!

Love how the cleansing milk can easily cleanse off my make-up.

Remember: before apply any make-up products, give your skin enough hydration to protect it, and of course, don't forget to slab on tons of...

Sunblock!

Make-up base done!
Is time to make-up~!

Priscilla is applying foundation on Dr. Marr.

Did you know that 100% mineral make-up doesn't have any other form other than powder? Because it contains 100% pure mineral and it won't clog up the pores of our skin like how conventional make-up products in liquid/cream form does. Using 100% mineral make-up is like putting on a layer of mineral mask on face instead of having the make-up products entering our pores and goes into the skin's epidermis layer and end up going into the blood stream.

I'm shocked with the amount of foundation powder needed for my face:

This little!??

Yes, is that little for a very light and basic foundation. If you feel like you wanted your make-up to be more heavy, put on another and another layer on your own preference.

Brush the foundation on, in circle mode.

For those dark eye circles and red spots, you can use a smaller tip brush, dip some powder and brush on the area you wanna cover more. It really amaze me such light weight powder can cover up my face and at the same time, leaving me feeling fresh and free. My face are totally oil free until late night that day. Love the feeling how my skin feels after applying KISS foundation powder.

While I'm brushing on the foundation powder, Priscilla is doing some magic.

One of the most harmful make-up product a woman can be using is lipstick. Imagine all the chemicals we consume into our body that will just stay inside our body until it's fully loaded, and in the end, our organs and body system starts to breakdown, especially our kidneys. It's very scary isn't? I'm not really a lipstick fan, but I do aware how harmful these can be to my body.

Some of the lips problem, such as crack, discolouration, dry, sensitive, can be due to the environment and also the lip products we're using. KISS make-up's lipstick are recommended by doctor to their patients who love to make-up so that they can use the lipstick at the same time protect their lips. What Priscilla was doing is to turn KISS mineral make-up, can turn their blush powder into gloss, just add the blush colour to vaseline and voila, you can have the same colour tone of blusher and lip gloss!

it's all about matching cheek colour and lips.

These are KISS mineral make-up's blusher, highlight and eyeshadow.

Just like normal eyeshadow we apply, KISS's eyeshadow works perfectly fine on my skin. I love how the colour changes for each layer I apply on, and their colours are oh-so-fine-looking with the glitters. Their eyeshadows can be done in two ways, the dry, powdery way or the wet cotton bud way. The difference is so huge for both ways:

While the upper stroke is the dry way, the lower stroke which colour appears to be more vibrant is drawn using wet cotton bud.

If you want to, you can also add the powder of eyeshadow into clear nail lacquer, you can create your own nail polish colour which matches with your eyes. Uber cool right?

Not to mention, eyeliner is a must in my make-up dictionary and this eyeliner is so easy to draw.
Plus they are REAL black kohl eyeliner and non-smudging as well!

Look at what ONE lipstick can appear as a few different tones when apply to different skin tone.
This is how unique KISS make-up is!

The best seller of KISS mineral make-up: Lip Plumper
Instantly plumps up your lips, gorgeous looking kissable lips in just seconds!

Voila~! Make-up done using KISS 100% mineral make-up.

Everything is so light-weighted, there's zero burden on my skin that day! Imagine I wore the make-up from 2pm until midnight, and there's no smudge, withstand my sweat (because I went to Dash Berlin concert with the make-up) and long-lasting! KISS mineral make-up makes my look so smooth and also protect the skin with no chemical damage done to it.

A great workshop indeed with these gorgeous ladies
From left, Fatin, Jean and Lisa.

Last but not least, with Dr. Marr and Priscilla.

KISS mineral make-up is recommended by doctors for girls who have sensitive skin, and it is available at Faceworks Clinic located at Starhill Gallery, Pamper Floor, unit S16. Do check out their website for more information you wish to know:

K-Palette Beauty Workshop

Thank you for the arrangement of Mandom Corp. and Manoah Consulting, 20 beauty bloggers including me get to learn some REAL Japanese make-up tips which is in trend now! Took part in the K-Palette Beauty Workshop last weekend and learned some in-trend Japanese make-up tips which was taught to us by a 15 years experienced of professional make-up artist who flew all the way from Japan to Malaysia, such a great learning opportunity and I can't wait to share all these to you.

Good Morning, K-Palette!

Went to the beauty workshop with Jean, and both of us were sick. *cough cough* Luckily the last two seats were at the back as we both are like two big walking bacterias which take turns to cough throughout the whole event that I feel so embarassed for attending the workshop under a bad condition. Gomen-nasai!!!

Two sick cats
Can we both turn to Japanese-ish good looking girls?

Although am still feeling sick, but whenever I get in touch with tons and tons of make-up, I immediately become wide awake. Get to experience all the awesome products from K-Palette chased away all the unwell feeling in me.

Oooh la~la~ Tons of good stuff waiting for me to explore!

First of all, an opening remarks by the director of K-Palette who flew all the way from Japan to Malaysia:

Mr. Kinoshita

Here comes the superstar of the day - Ms. Inagaki and her translator Mr. Suzuki.

It's quite fun to have all the friendly Japanese around. Suzuki-san's translation sometimes made us burst in laughter as well. Such a fun environment for us to learn and enjoy. Inagaki-san's 15 years of make-up experience made her a good tutor as well. She understands well about the needs of Asian women's skin and also make-up habit, which I felt very connected with all the things she said.

Let's start the make-up process!

As usual, before you start the make-up process, it is a MUST to complete your skincare routine to ensure your skin are hydrated and moisturized so that your make-up will stay fit all day! That is one of the key point to have longer lasting make-up look from day till night. So don't be lazy to put on those toner, lotions, moisturizer and sunblock!

This is my first time trying the products from K-Palette, and I must say that I am impressed by their awesomeness! Their 0(Zero) Tema BB Cream light up my face instantly and their 0(Zero) Kuma Concealer comes in 3 shades to cater for different type of eye's dark circle needs. Both of these base make-up products made perfect fit to my skin, they are very light weighted and oil controlling, love it!!!

From top to bottom: Tone 1 , 2 and 3
Tone 1: Suitable for all types of dark circles
Tone 2: Tad bit yellowish, for brownish/reddish type of dark circles
Tone 3: Tad bit orangey, for blue-ish/green-ish type of dark circles

While we're putting on 0 Tema BB Cream and conceal our dark eye circles, Inagaki-san drew two faces which indicates the cool type face and the cute type face.

Which is you?
I'm the cool type face.

Tadaaa~ Basic foundation make done!
Using 0 Zero Tema BB Cream and 0 Zero Kuma concealer.
They did miracles!

Inagaki-san define each of us what type of face we are, and which type of make-up we're suitable for. Although I'm cool type face, but it is also possible for me to do cute type of make-up once in a while, for the suitable occasion. Feeling a bit kawaii recently, don't really wanna look cool. lol. So let's define the make-up by drawing le eyebrows! It is such an important step in defining a girl's make-up don't you think so?

First time using K-Palette Lasting 2 Way Eyebrow.

Comes with two type of tips, easy to draw and the define the eyebrows at certain area.
Loving the powder brush!

For girls with cute face type, your eyebrows should be shorter, and for girls with cool face type like mine, the eyebrow can be longer. I prefer draw my eyebrows in thicker shape nowadays and I don't know why. I guess my drawing skill change from time to time. lol.

See! Eyebrow make a lot of difference to one's feature.

After I drew my eyebrow, I feel kinda heart itchy to try on their eyebrow mascara, so while waiting for Inagaki-san to check and help draw other's eyebrows, I try and brush the eyebrow mascara onto my already drew brows, and it was a mistake! Put on way too many eyebrow mascara that they clumped together and my eyebrow looks dead and fake. Gotta remove my eyebrow make-up and do it all over again. LOL!

A lesson for being hand itchy did something extra, and also made me realize how much I like the Lasting 2Way Eyebrow, so easy to draw and define my eyebrow shape in just seconds, I can draw layers and layers without my eyebrow looks like Crayon Shin-Chan's. Love!!!!

I can see that K-Palette really focus on eye make-up as they have tons of products cater for eye make-up needs. Next we're gonna do is drawing eyeliner, which is my favourite part during a make-up process. As usual, cool type face have to draw the line longer as for cute type face, shorter. Yes, am gonna use that number one best selling eyeliner in Japan - K-Palette Real Lasting Eyeliner 1Day Tattoo!

1Day Tattoo, gonna use both eyeliner and eye pencil.

Let's draw cat eye~!

Cat eyeliner done!

After trying out the eyeliner, I'm convinced why it is the number 1 selling eyeliner in Japan - Because it is so easy to use and non-smudge plus stay the whole day!!! Can feel it is easy to glide through my eye lines when I draw using the eyeliner, its tip is sharp and of course, non-smudging for the whole day! Plus it can be remove using warm water, long-lasting stay but easy removal, sounds like heaven!

The next boom that K-Palette is bringing into Malaysia market, is this:

Real Lasting Tears Tank 1Day Tattoo
For highlighting eyebags

If you don't know, that eyebag make-up is the IN thing in Japan and Korea make-up trend now Now NOW!!! Everybody wants eyebag make-up, and the watery eye effect that eyebag make-up creates is so good that I bet all the guys wouldn't bully you for a single second!

The creamy and highlighting effect of the Tears Tank 1Day Tattoo is really good!

Normally, when I wanna do the eyebag make-up, I have to use highlight powder or white/beige eyeshadows and apply them on my eyebags. Of course it is quite inconvenient and sometimes the powder of the eyeshadows will drop into my eyes during the application process, it was a painful process to get it out from my eyes and irritates my eye so much. Now with the Tears Tank 1Day Tattoo, highlighting my eyebags is just an easy peasy process.

Let's do this!

How's the highlighting effect?
I love it!!!

After applying the Tears Tank 1Day Tattoo and 1Day Lash Perm Mascara, my look of the day is pretty much done! K-Palette's 1Day Lash Perm mascara really lengthens and curled my eyelashes without using eyelash curler! Both me and Jean were amazed by how it lengthens and curled my eyelashes, especially my lower eyelashes that looks so long and dolly after apply.

Now, we're two Gorgeous sick cats. Hahaha.

It was a really fun workshop learning from Inagaki-san and get to lay my hands on all the K-Palette's best selling products. Feels so much better after the workshop, maybe it's because I feel the confidence is coming back with my make-up done face. That's why, being pretty is not just about looks, but to boost our inner self-esteem that bring us positive attitude towards life!

Meow~!!

Thank you Mandom Corp., K-Palette and Manoah Consulting for organizing this wonderful beauty workshop that brought tons of fun and confidence back in me. Such a perfect start for a beautiful Sunday! Time to catwalk out the building and conquer the world!!! MEOW~!!!

Last but not least, group pic time with Mr. Kinoshita, Ms. Inagaki and Mr. Suzuki!
(Thank you Jolie for this photo!)
