Sailor Jerry Brought Me to MTV World Stage 2014

Just last Saturday, I managed to attend MTV World Stage 2014 all thanks to Sailor Jerry and Manoah. It was my first time being sponsored to such a huge party, of course, I was surprised that Sailor Jerry even gave us a full load of yummilicious goodies alongside with a pair of VIP ticket to the show and a pair of no-money-can-buy Gold tickets to the post party.

Goodies loaded in the limited edition Sailor Jerry tote bag!

Look at this!!! Thank you Sailor Jerry for your generosity!

It wasn't my first time attending MTV World Stage, but it was my first time be inside with all the VIPs during MTV World Stage. There are so much fun activities going on around the VIP tent, of course, unforgettably the free flow of Sailor Jerry Spiced throughout the night! Yes, you heard it, unlimited supply of the famous Caribbean Rum which blended with 100% natural spices and flavors. And did I forgot to tell you, we are among the first who tasted the Caribbean Rum on that night because it was Sailor Jerry Spiced debut night during the MTV World Stage 2014!

Welcome to Malaysia Sailor Jerry!

Sailor Jerry Spiced was inspired by American tattoo legend Norman "Sailor Jerry"  Collins who said: "Originating, Never Imitating." Sailor Jerry Spiced embodies the independent spirit and unapologetic attitude of the rum’s namesake who was noted for saying “My work speaks for itself.” Sailor Jerry is also a big advocate of authentic and true individuals. Sailor Jerry supports originality and individuals who express themselves creatively. It is currently only available in a few outlets in Malaysia.

We were treated the VIP style by Sailor Jerry that night at MTV World Stage, and it was truly an unforgettable party experience.

Bell 宇田 Beautiful Live

Got the invitation from Laogao to this local singer whose name is Bell 宇田's live mini concert that was held at Penthouse, The Icon on 27th April. (Hah, another backdated blog post).

That day was a super rush day for me as I was rushing all over the places and got myself stuck in job and being late for the show. End up Laogao felt so upset for me being late. I'm sorry~ T_T. Heard he said that the first half of the show was a nice one, pretty wasted for me to have missed the first half. In case you're interested bout what's the highlight of the first half that I've missed, Laogao shared the video link to me...

Isn't it make you wanna cry? A lot of people cried during the video, and the best part is - the woman of the above story was there, at the mini concert, and was invited to the stage by Bell. I'm sure that if I was there, I will cry like nobody's around too. That's why Laogao was upset with me, that because of me he can't really enjoy the show. Sorry sorry :(

But the lucky thing among the unlucky things is - I still get to see Bell perform my favourite song of hers live that night. Of course, they save the good stuff at last, right?

Bell and friends jamming session.
I couldn't recall their names.

Bell have this sweet voice that I couldn't get over with. The first I heard her voice was in the movie Paper Moon 纸月亮. Her voice in the song 带我走 really touched me, and from there I know that Malaysia have this talented singer called Bell 宇田. She's really good at singing, at times I wish that I have voice as sweet as hers. Imagine you talk to everyone in that voice, sure their heart will melt.

Stunning beautiful.

Nothing too flashy, just her, a band at the background, and her beautiful voice.

The two songs I like of hers are 雨是甜的 and 带我走. Love her live performance, so nice that I felt touched by her singing. Her fans did something even crazy when she performing 雨是甜的...

All bring out the umbrella they brought purposely for the song.

It really wasn't easy to become a singer in Malaysia, it wasn't easy to be recognise and also not an easy route to release an album. Many have tried, many have failed as well, but I'm glad that Bell did it and Malaysia have a unique and sweet voice like her singing. I would never forget how well she sang that night, and how touched I am to have attended the mini concert that she prepared with all the members of her team that have made it a success. Of course, a truthful thank you to Kevin who invited me to this mini concert even though I am not really a mandarin song lover.

Wish Bell all the best in her singing career, more and more songs from her to be release in the future!

Swedish House Mafia - One Last Tour in Kuala Lumpur

Can't believe I'm blogging about something that happens back in January this year, but I'll be unsatisfied if I don't because this is one damn good experience I had - Swedish House Mafia's One Last Tour in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!!! (Also as known as Reiko's first ever self-purchase ticket to a concert/rave party lolololol)

Although I'm not a real fan of Swedish House Mafia, but I listen to their songs occasionally and after I learned that this is going to be their last world tour before they disband, I feel it's definitely a must go for me to experience their live performance. Honestly, it was so, so good, by far the best concert I've ever went this year!

The concert was held at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach, I remember it was a Friday and I reach Sunway Pyramid so early to beat the hectic traffic at that area. The gang that I'm watching this concert with are actually Tammy's friends, but too bad she's not into rave party so it is just me and her friends. Luckily all of them were cool so we get together pretty well before the concert starts.

Look of the day - Turquoise x Pink

I kinda forgot what event me and Lisa went earlier that day that in the end she followed me to Sunway Pyramid and we chilled at Starbucks while waiting for my friends to reach. Funny thing is everytime the Starbucks baristas wrote the wrong name on my cup even though I spelled it out alphabet by alphabet, so I decided to do what my other friend did - use some character names. This time I chose Sailormoon, but guess what, they get it wrong anyway.... Sigh.

Yeah right, Salemoo. Hahahaha. Whatever!!

I waited for hours before the first in the gang arrive, I remembered that it was raining on that day and we kinda worried the concert can't carry on as scheduled, but luckily it stopped before the show begin. Had our dinner at Asian Avenue and finally saw my ticket stub for the first time. Thanks Daniel for helping all of us buy the ticket.

Ohai One Last Tour, here we come!!!

Maybe I'm a noob, they told me it isn't necessary to enter the venue that early, and we can chill at the bar near the boulevard and had few drinks before we head to Sunway Surf Beach. We chilled at the bar until 9pm, then only we head to the venue. I must say, their timing is very good! lol.

With Daniel and Roger

With Joanne.

9pm, I can't wait to go in, and I quickly urge all of them to finish all the beer they've ordered. I guess they are pretty much good drinker as those amount of beer to them are nothing. LOL. Did I mention that Jean was with us as well? Too bad she have to accompany her friends, we didn't have much time spent together and didn't even take one single photo together!! SIGH!!!

XPAX X Zone.

ONE LAST TOUR!
This is real!!!
I'm gonna rave for the first time in my life!

We spent quite some time queuing up and waiting for friends to go to the loo and all. At that very moment we reach Sunway Surf Beach, that's the exact time where Swedish House Mafia takes over the stage and start their performance with the big curtains down and fireworks blasting from stage. At that time we are so excited we can't find our zone's entrance. Have to go through all the people and a lot of people being pushy as well. Not an easy task to get to our zone at all, and in the middle of the 'mission', we lost track of some friends. Yikes.

This is the closes we can get to.
Actually it is closer than you see in this photo. LOL

I think 12 of us... and we split into 3 groups. Jean one group, another group and 4 of us stuck in the middle of the people inside the party zone. We didn't really contact each other as the signal is so bad at that time, we just party on.

I can't recall all the songs being played that night, but I remember each and every of them was good. The graphics from the LED are so good too that it brings our emotion to another level. This is how a good concert should be, bringing their audiences to a level which the experience is so unique that nothing can beat being there on the spot by themselves.

Everybody is getting more and more high~!

Barely can see Daniel's eyes already.
But it was fun.

Half way through the concert, it started to rain again, luckily it is not pouring, just drizzle, totally good enough for cool down the heat of the whole surf beach, or else I find it's gonna be so hard to even breathe. Of course, pity those who wear glasses as the steam keeps showing on their lenses. The rain just make everything better!!!

Everybody was dancing around!
So fun!

One of my favourite song from Swedish House Mafia - Antidote!

I love love loveeee this graphic so much!

Crazy!!!

When Malaysia flag was shown on the screen and Swedish House Mafia are waving our flags,
I feel so touched!
Everybody is here, at Malaysia, Sunway Surf Beach, unite as one because the love of their music.

Of course, confettis are a must!

Their signature 3 dots!
Everybody is in a climax state already!

Although I'm not a person with good stamina, but surprisingly I can dance and jump in a rave party continuously for 2 hours or more! That's how much I love dancing and music. I can't even last a 10 minutes badminton game but I can dance like there's no tomorrow. I'm quite amazed by my dancing stamina lol.

Last but not least, the Thank You we received from Swedish House Mafia!

By the time the party ends, we're already soaking wet!

It is one true unique experience I've been through this year, one which I will never forget. The rain that keeps raining on us, we who keep dancing and sing a long with Swedish House Mafia keep playing their songs. The unity I felt when all of us throw our hands in the air, with the rhythm and the beat, everything was perfect.

It is really such a sad thing for them to disband after their last performance on March 24th, but I will never forget their awesome performance in Malaysia. Thanks to all my friends who went to the concert together, I really had a great time with all of you!

You Came.
You Raved.
We Loved It.

We ♥ Asia

Despite on how much I love Rave Party, I never get to attend to one, as guest. Usually will be asked to work or so, but I guess God loves me so much that he gave me THREE freaking Rave Parties to go to in just one weekend! Thank you very much universe.

19th and 20th January 2013 is the very much anticipated We Love Asia concert which held at Sepang F1 Circuit. There are so many international artists and DJs took part in the performance of this concert that the fun and excitement just never stop! Guess it's best when you go to this kind of party with crazy friends who will do some crazy stupid stuff with you. Can't stop laughing now whenever I recall how funny we looked like during the concert.

Thanks to Don and his company Manoah for these tickets!!!
Thank you very much!!!!

To be honest, 19th is the first time I visit Sepang F1 circuit. I never been there before in my life and the place was huge! From the main entrance to the stage area took us freaking 10mins+ of walk. LOL. Luckily we're all hyped up for the concert and treat the distance of walk as warm up.

The Stage
Everybody's already dancing when we got there.

There are many booths around, some are selling merchandises and some are selling beverages at price from RM10. For those who need a break from the concert, they can always visit the Prize Giving Booth which looked like this:

Play all sort of games and win prizes!
But no I don't know what the prizes are because I just took a glance around and ciao. lol
Can't wait to dance already!

Yolanda Be Cool performing!

I'm not a hardcore party goer but some of these music are just something we heard from time to time on radio! It's super easy to get the feeling of dancing kicking in with these cool music and everybody around you just started dancing like there's no tomorrow.

Hands in the air~!

Got my hands on these cute light ball ring from the girls working at the concert and seriously, dancing have never been so much fun!

DJ Antoine

Welcome to Central Bay

We just nonstop dance and dance and dance. I haven't exercise for such a long period but this dancing thing is just making me more and more hyper it just keep on going. Me and my friend did some funny 'house chores move' dance and it was hilarious. People around us just keep watching but guess what, we don't give a shit because we're enjoying! Hahaha~ It was really really fun.

Taio Cruz in da houseeee

We sang so loud along with Taio Cruz that our voice changed the next morning. Luckily no sore throat because brilliant me brought a pack of Strepsils to the event hahahaha. Initially just wanna get some sweets to eat but wow, Strepsils is really a good idea isn't?

with Isaac

So fun that night I almost laugh till jaw drop.
Thanks Isaac, you're such a fun companion!

Most of the people are anticipating for the 20th's performance as the line-ups are more to their taste, such as Redfoo from LMFAO, Steve Aoki and Joachim Garraud. Got another friend to follow me to the concert this day and it's none other than - Laogao!!! Hahaha. He's a virgin to rave party hohoho. Do you guys think he will like it???

Let's party on!!!

Joachim Garraud!!!
Space Party DJ!!!

I lost count to the attendees of the concert but  I saw a lot a lot of foreigners as well as visitors from other country. Such a success for this We Love Asia concert!

Another climax when we saw this showing on the LED screen:

PARTY ROCK!!!!

REDFOO!!!
YEAH BABYYY!!!!

We sang along, jumped so high and shuffled. When he sings I'm Sexy and I Know It, Redfoo and his crew just tear off their pants like how you saw in their MTV and wiggleeeee! LOL! Such overwhelming performance that none of us Malaysian ever seen before! We screamed so loud, Redfoo got everybody so high!

Steve Aoki
A lot of my friends claimed that he stole the show!

Such a happy weekend that I danced and jumped so much, my hands were in the air most of the time that Laogao told me if attend this kind of event once a week, we'll never have flabby butterfly wings at the arms area hahahaha. True enough!

YEAH! WE LOVE ASIA!!!!

DO YOU THINK WE LOVE THIS CONCERT!?
The pic below says it all!

Party Too Hard!

Once again, thanks to Don and Manoah for such fabulous weekend, had all the fun in the universe in those two days! Can't wait for more, keep it coming!!!!
