Thailand Trip Day 2 - Santorini Park

(For Thailand Trip Day 1 and Day 2 Swiss Sheep Farm, click here: Day 1 Hua Hin, Swiss Sheep Farm)

Right after we depart from Swiss Sheep Farm, me and Peiyue and her mum head straight to the famous Santorini Park that everyone's been talking about. If you would like to have some taste of "Greece" and "Santorini", this is a place for you. Maybe a warm up for you before you head to the real place?

Santorini Park, located at Cha-Am, Hua Hin.

I remember how sunny it was during our visit at Swiss Sheep Farm, then suddenly clouds starts to gathered and looked gloomy when we arrived at Santorini Park. I was hoping it will stay gloomy as it were so that we won't get any sunburnt or something but too bad it poured halfway through our visit and we resorted to dine in one of its restaurant inside the park. And also that's also why the photos looked kinda dark and gloomy due to the weather. (My DSLR decided to die on me during this time, great. Most of the photos were from Peiyue's cam.)

Interior of Santorini Park

I love this photo of hers.

If you're more to a photo-taking/model for photo kind of person, Santorini Park is a perfect place for you. There are so many places in the park you can take nice photo with. The flowers, white building body with contrast coloured decorations, doors, window panes etc. You'll be able to find a lot of beautiful surprises at each corner of Santorini Park.

Okay I don't know why is MUFC Store in the park. It's not like they're from Greece.
But oh well, not everything in this world make sense. lol.

The very signature colour of Santorini.

it's fun photo-taking at each and every corner of the park.

Yes, you're a whale, I know that.

Seriously, what can be more awesome and fun travelling with your best buddy!

If you have the time and patience, you will admire the beautiful buildings inside Santorini Park and thinking how beautiful the actual Santorini will be! Santorini Park is a perfect place for wedding shoots I think, for couples who doesn't have the budget to go to Greece for a shoot but still wanted a touch of the magical place in their wedding photos.

After circling and getting lost in the maze-like pathways and in between buildings of Santorini Park, here we come to an open space with lots of statues, art monuments and the signature Santorini Park ferris wheel. (And the super dark gloomy sky that greeted us.)

Groupie photo with the ferris wheel!

Tip for photo at Santorini Park: Don't forget to bring along with you the monopod/selfie stick, you're gonna need it to include everyone in your photo with the huge ferris wheel. Or you can find yourself a friend with super long hands, like mine. lol.

Feels like Cinderella already!

Super funny trick art photo with Aunty
(Seriously, Peiyue's mum is one of the funniest and easy going elders I would prefer to travel with!)

Oops! Spilled a flowerful colours on the ground

Super huge merry-go-round located at the other side of the park

and not forgetting those silly stuff I do during the visit
Got chomp by a shark

Most of the shops inside Santorini Park weren't open during our visit. There are some restaurants located near to the ferris wheel, so you don't need to worry there's nothing to eat if you're hungry during your visit. We chose a local food restaurant and had local Thai noodle soup with meat balls. It was yum!

I want a bowl of this right now!

As mentioned earlier, it was quite an experience seeing how Santorini-look-alike park, it makes me feel like visiting the real Santorini so much! I bet it would be a breath-taking experience eh? We didn't visit the 3D/Trick Art museum which is also located inside Santorini Park because we felt it was not really our thing, hence we leave the park and head back to Bangkok instead after 2 hours touring around the park. And this concludes our visit to Hua Hin, the land with cute sheep, Santorini and the summer palace where their King and Queen currently resides in.

Next, it's Bangkok Shopping time!!!

Last but not least~
