When beauty and aesthetic industry were allowed to operate business within SOP guidelines last month, I was so happy because I finally get to fix my ugly nails and of course, at one of the top nail salon of Sabah which is now officially landed in Kuala Lumpur since January - Maniqure. 

Just noticed that my hair colour is the same with Manicure's branding is this fate!!!

Located at one of the busiest town - Sri Petaling, it's super easy to plan a day where you can fit your lunch-manicure session-dinner in just one go to minimize outing + efficient time managing. Also, if you're driving to Sri Petaling like me and knows how headache it is to find a parking space in this area, park inside the parking building and walk over to Maniqure takes only 3 mins! Parking issue solved hahaha. 

When I step into the nail salon and greeted with friendly welcome, just casually browsing around the nail salon made me feel so happy because I saw there are plenty of instagrammable spots I can take photos with my fresh nails right after the manicure session. It's hard to find an aesthetically pleasing set-up at home and lighting is always off, hence I prefer places with lots of natural light/sufficient lighting like how Maniqure did with their interior.

I can't recall since when I started doing gel manicure, but every once in awhile I will go to nail salons and pamper myself with manicure sessions. I've come to this stage where I no longer want to think of design of my own and just want to relax and enjoy the session with guaranteed pretty nails outcome.

My manicurist was cute and skilful as well. She constantly checks with me whether I feel pain at the nail bed area as she noticed how my nails are thin and brittle. Her buffing skills are on point as I don't recall feel pain or any sensation after she applying the gel nail polish (which mostly I felt stung).

Since my choice of nail designs come with big nail accessories, she make sure each and every one of them are right on the centre point as well as make sure they're wrapped by coating perfectly so I won't feel pokey or its claws hooked onto anything accidentally. These attention to small details really does make me feel pampered and cared throughout the manicure session. 

She even show me her latest nail art which has Sailor Moon because I told her I love Sailor Moon designs!

Despite the complicated designs and layers of wrapping, my manicurist manage to get everything done in 2 hours and I'm impressed! Each and every nails look so fine and classy I can't wait to show them off and remember they have this pretty and chic corner for photo taking? Let's go over!

Manicurists in Maniqure are helpful as well, my manicurist basically helped me snap tons of photos that day for my social media needs! From my fresh nails to OOTD! Most of the time it's awkward to ask people help you to snap photos but my manicurist is so passionate about taking the perfect shots hence I don't feel shy anymore and buay paiseh ask her help me snap at different angles. 

My nail designs are 100% same as what I saw on the app! Woot!

BALLIN WITH MY SHINY MERC

*trying hard to look cool with my title lololol*

Sorry for the "showing off" tone on my title but I really meant it with the term  "shiny Merc"! All thanks to Ceramic Pro who brings life to my car after a year driving it without those protection coatings. 

2 years ago, when Fei (my bf) purchased his new car, he did some research on car coatings and window tinting services available in Malaysia and came across Ceramic Pro Malaysia which by then located at Glenmarie area. We traveled all the way from Batu Caves to Subang just because there are a lot tons of positive reviews from other car owners. It was a pleasant experience back then and we're pretty much satisfied with the products and services for the money we paid.

So what's Ceramic Pro and why Ceramic Pro?

Technically speaking, Ceramic Pro is a type of clear, ceramic coating that can be applied in multiple layers that can be transformed into permanent durable but flexible ceramic shield after polymerization (chemical reaction). It has self cleaning properties as well as 3 times more hardness compare to car body alone.

Of course, best part of this coating to me is the self cleaning effect! I love how easy to clean Fei's car after he did the coating. Literally any type of common stain ( I don't know bout marker pen or crayon stains from kids tho, you might want to check with Ceramic Pro) you might encounter during your drive - mud, dust, bird shit etc... Just rinse them with water and wipe them away! As easy as that!

And also, your car will always look brand new too due to the coating. Even if it doesn't shine bright anymore, they have 5-10 years of warranty depends on the package you choose from so you can always bring your car back to their service centre to do the coating maintenance again. The whole process will took about 8 hours so make sure you block your day when send your car to Ceramic Pro for the coating service (or maybe give yourself a break, just chill at their lounge area or take grab to nearest Setia Alam Mall for a movie!).

I'm the first customer to arrive on that day and I left my car there and head to one of the cafe that's located just few minutes grab drive away. I took the GOLD PACKAGE which consist 6 layers of nano ceramic coating as well as 7 years warranty. The person in charge of Ceramic Pro Setia Alam branch - Lucas is so helpful and kind that he updates me each and every step of the process that's been done onto my car when I was away. It's by then only I realise my car's body have so many stone chips and scratches.

Those minor scratches are gone after the coating process, like a magic touch from photoshop except it is done by professional well-trained staff who are very good at what they're doing. They take their job seriously and make sure each and every surface of my car are well polished and covered in coatings.  I'm seriously impressed by their serious working attitude when I was back from lunch and saw my car still undergo coating process.

For my package, basically everything from exterior to interior is coated with Ceramic Pro except for my engines. It really does make my car washing task become easier as I just need to clean my car with normal soap and no waxing required at all!

The Essentials in Life
