Topbeauté Facial Review

A very much needed facial session. All thanks to my girl Jean who invited me along to tryout Topbeauté's facial session. Topbeauté is located at Kota Damansara, same row as Alliance Bank, it was my first visit to the beauty salon, I'm quite excited as I haven't done facial for months! Can't imagine how dirty it is all my facial pores are.

When I saw the signboard, I have a tiny bit of doubts, but then when we walk nearer to the beauty salon, totally change my point of view. I can't believe there hides such beautiful facial salon at this area. So don't be like me who judge the book by its cover. *feels ashamed*

Everything was white in colour. All the furnitures and wall colours and decorations. I love how clean and pure feeling the interior designs of Topbeauté gave me. Made me feel relaxed while anticipating for a facial session, self-pampering time.

Before we start the facial session, the manager of Topbeauté - Chris gave both me and Jean a simple analyze of our skin conditions.

Okay, I got a bad skin day.

My skin are more to allergic type of skin, which can be easily seen from my no-makeup look: red veins all over my cheeks. Advice from Chris are I need to stop using skincare products with alcohol or chemicals in it because they will stimulate my allergy skin, and my skin needs water. Hydrate-type of skincare suits me well. Will take note of that from now on.





So right after we got our skin analysis, Chris show us around the dressing area and also treatment rooms. I really love all the florals and girlish themed of interior, so Victoria-era style.

Consultation room

Normally, the consultation and skin analysis will be done in this cute and fuzzy consultation room while the customer having a foot jacuzzi massage and a cup of tea. Enjoying the rich tai tai lifestyle. Once in a while can be somewhat good for your body and soul.

We need to learn to love ourselves and our body as well.
This is what I think a facial session does for me, nourishing the inner and outer me at the same time.

Then, me and Jean went into separate facial treatment rooms. This is how they look like:

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get comfy in this bed.

Here comes the facial treatment!

I guessed it's really been some time since I last did a facial, because I kinda forgot how painful can the extraction part be! I almost scream out due to the painful extraction part, but thank god they got rid of quite an amount of dirt from all the clogged pores as well as black heads and white heads, left my face clean and smooth after the extractions.



Remember that Topbeauté uses Decléor's products as well as their facial ritual? For some facial treatments of Topbeauté, they infused shoulder, neck and head massage into the facial treatments, the skin gets to absorb the nutrients of the plant-based products and also a relaxing step for the mind and soul. I love how they perform the beauty ritual with their hands, nourishes my skin with hydrating skincare products as well as soothes my tiring body at the same time.



The fresh yet soothing smell of Decléor products throughout the facial treatment session gives the whole atmosphere a natural touch. I love how natural the products smells like with smells like apple, rose, ylang ylang and more. The aroma of Decléor products used by Topbeauté really calms me down and give me a wonderful relaxing facial time. Not to mention they do massage their customers which is included in certain facial treatments packages. Really love their facial services to bits!

The Skintopic's 1st Anniversary

Supposedly to post this up at the end of September/early October but got pretty caught up due to travel/work/outstation work so here it is - Congratulations on your 1st Anniversary Skintopic! Finger foods were served to the guests before the start of the event. Although I couldn't remember much bout who did the catering for the tea session, but the food were very very nice and wide range of selection for the guests. Good sandwich and also desserts, yummy! Totally set our mood for welcoming what's coming next.

Honda Hybrid Family Road Trip 2013

It's been quite some time I last went for a road trip with friends, thanks to Honda and Manoah Consulting, me and my fellow blogger friends managed to go to Ipoh for a road trip with Honda's Hybrid series cars. Yes, the cars were ours for 3 days 2 nights! That's what make the whole road trip's excitement to a brand new level!

Lil White here is a Honda Jazz Hybrid. This is the first time I drive a Honda, and Hybrid series, so I'm a little nervous when first ignite the engine. Kinda triggers the phobia in me to drive car that aren't mine due to involved in an accident early this month but I try my best not to get too carried away with the fear, and voila, all ends well and I'm still a pretty good driver! Ask Senri if you disagree, your argument is invalid lol.

Now this Honda Jazz Hybrid is a produced-in-Malaysia hybrid series car, with its green technology and also better savings for fellow Malaysians, we have a better choice and also contribute to a better environment. By how you ask?

By clicking a green button, ECO mode ON!

Beautiful lights of the Speedometer indicates which mode you are currently driving. How Honda Jazz Hybrid works for fuel economy and helps the environment? Yes, by pressing the ECO button and with its Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) hybrid system. With the ECO mode on, your Honda Jazz Hybrid will run on both engine and the electric motors to optimized fuel saving efficiency depending on the style you drive, especially city drive where you drive and stop in more frequent times.

While your speedometer is in green, that means your car is actually running the engine motor instead of fuel, which helps you save the fuel emissions. The engine motor will automatically recharge when you step on your brake. As I mentioned above, this is the first time I drive a Honda Jazz Hybrid, so when the ECO Mode is on, while stopping for red lights, the car will automatically shut down. I wasn't quite sure what happened for the first few times, it kinda make me stare at the dashboard as well, but after then I realize it is because of the ECO mode. Hahaha. Silly me.

So, on a sunny Saturday, me and fellow bloggers en route to Ipoh! Me and Senri as a team, well, you know, when girls get together everything seems so fun and gossiping has never been more juicy when you're on highways and nothing gets in your lane or need extra attention on the road. lol. We head to Sg Buloh's Bridge Restaurants to get our breakfast and coffee fix, then start our journey with awesome songs Senri loaded into her mp3 the day before. Did I told you that good sound system is one of the must for me when selecting cars? Honda Jazz Hybrid captured my heart in every possible way!

We started the journey a lil bit later than the rest, so we all agreed to meet up at Tesco Ipoh Timur directly. We reached almost the same time as the rest of the bloggers, and the Honda Hybrid team of KL looking stunning when we all parked our car together.

Okay, now is time to visit the roadshow of Honda Family Road Trip 2013.

For those newbie to Hybrid cars, did you know that Honda Hybrid series of year 2012/13 is the all-new-Hybrid-series with longest battery warranty period and also the widest range of hybrid cars in Malaysia! Through this roadshow, I get to know and understand how Hybrid system works with the I-VTEC engine and engine motor and also how to achieve fuel efficiency with Hybrid car.

Many fun activities are there for visitors to play and gain knowledge of Hybrid system cars at the same time. You can either ride a bicycle, play a simulator game, go to the Hybrid Home Theatre or play with a Hybrid Challenge and win yourself a gift from Honda!

Played this game and got praised by the assistant as one of the fastest to complete the challenge muahaha!

Of course, that's not all. There are car displays in the showroom where you get to see, touch, feel the cars by yourself. Honda CR-Z Hybrid has the coolest and sporty design, Honda Civic Hybrid is the most comfy ones, Honda Jazz Hybrid is my all-time-favourite! Now I wish I own a Honda Jazz Hybrid for its fuel efficiency and its chic design. My dream car!

Later that night, the Honda Family Road Trip 2013 organized a concert for the fellow Ipohians to come join the fun with all the celebrities as well as local artists such as Danny One, Gina, Soo Wincci and much more. 

Respect all the artists for giving all out while performing their songs with dance and singing. There are also lucky draws for the audiences and they are giving away awesome stuff like Crabtree & Evelyn, Nikon Cameras and so on! Congratulates to all the lucky winners that night!

After the roadshow and road trip, I can't keep myself for thinking that how do a car driver can help produce a cleaner air environment as well as preserve nature around us for ourselves as well as the generations to come. I guess that instead of car pooling and taking public transportations, Hybrid cars will be one of the solution. 

While the Hybrid car is in low speed cruising, it will solely reply on the engine motor all thanks to the IMA hybrid systems where there will be no fuel emission during low speed cruising with a Hybrid car, where indirectly keeping the air around clean. That means while you are driving around city area like Kuala Lumpur, the fuel emission is actually lower than normal cars, which help prevent air pollutions. 

Air, although is free, but is a precious elements where all the living things on earth rely on. We wouldn't want to take it for granted and let all the beautiful nature that are currently surrounding us disappear one day just because we didn't care to take any action in preserving the nature. Maybe one day that these (beautiful nature of the photos I took during the Ipoh road trip) will never appear in our lives again, how sad it is to just imagine that day to come, right?

TGV Halls of Horror Movie Marathon

Happy Belated Halloween guys! (Better late than never right??? ) Hahaha.

How's your Halloween celebration for this year? Was it an extra spooky one? As for me, thanks to The Butterfly Project, I get to kick-start this year's Halloween celebration super early, as early as 11th October! Hahaha super kiasu or what.

This year's TGV cinemas has organized a halloween celebration and invited guests and medias to join the fun, it was a premiere screening for the long-awaited Insidious 2 as well. When I get to know that I was one of the lucky winner picked by Butterfly Project for TGV Halls of Horror event, I can't stop thinking "what should I wear what should I wear!?????".

Guests of the event were lead to Chillax at the upper of TGV One Utama. The Halloween-themed decorations of Chillax really set us into the Halloween mood. You know, finger foods and bites all arranged according to the theme, but still nonetheless delicious!

There are tons of events going on before the movie starts. How can a dress-up event without a best dress award right? Congrats to Yuri Wong bagged the best dress award of the night. Besides that, there are few rounds of lucky draw where lucky winners get free movie passes of TGV! Guess who won?

Just right before we head to our cinema hall, me and my friend Kevin quickly hop into the photobooth and took two photos for the memorable event. Thanks to 123cheese.my who is so awesome that they uploaded all the photos of the event to their Facebook so that I get to show you the photos. (I'm too lazy to point my camera and shoot the developed photos, not as nice as the original one don't you think so?)

After taking photos, when Kevin put back the mask to the props table, a guy came and took the mask away and say it was his, oops! Hahahahaha. Then after we get the photos which were nicely placed in a card frame, Kevin said: I shouldn't put on the mask and take these photos, there's no point being in the photo without own face right? Hahahahahahaha. What a funny statement, I got a silly friend. 

While we're watching the movie, there's a girl dressed up as the Dark Bride from the movie Insidious walk to the side of our seats and asked if she can sit beside us. Me and Kevin just chill and look at her without giving her any responds. Hahahaha. I guess she must be pretty upset for not be able to freak us out. The whole scene turn out pretty funny as the side of our seats are actually the staircase. The first thing that struck our mind was: If you wanna sit on the staircase then go ahead la! Hahahahahaha. 

That pretty much sums up the whole Halls of Horror event for the night.
